speaking of off topic, can we vote on Lanux128's avitar. I mean I like lanux's comments and style, it's just something about the smiling bag that gives me the creeps.

the wiki is hard to upload pictures to and doesnt get much traffic -
im really starting to think we should just close it and use the forum..

Not at all! Using the ImageShack's shell extension makes it extremely easy!

Nooooooooooo! It's just the old problem: if there's not enough content, not many will visit it... so I think this CLCL stuff would have its perfect home there!

Only the wiki made it possible to make lots of PC-illiterate users try SC!

1) i give you the telephone number of my chief, you can ask him if is allowed to install such extensions
2) how long are the images stored on ImageShack's bevor they drop them?
3) it's nicer to wrote/format here then in the wiki,
not to say how long iam on the search to find my article in the wiki again
4) no one must edit my text, so this forum is good enought,
and i didn't want to check the wiki if it altered in the mean time.
5) the users how found this with google are just in the right place...on the forum!

When your boss doesn't allow you to install harmless extensions, he probably doesn't allow you to write forum posts while you work either

Just because you are not familiar with the wiki syntax yet.

Wikis have a search option and most often get a good navigation by the time they get filled.

I like it when others are fixing my typos in wiki articles - and vice versa.

You can subscribe to wiki pages too, you'll be noticed.

Don't be naive, brotherS... ImageShack doesn't guarantee you that. Even GMail can not be forever.. If we can't trust Google, who else can we trust?

i think the images have count-down of 1 year. that means, if no one views/clicks on them within a year, they'll be deleted but once viewed/clicked, the count-down is reset to one year from the day it is viewed/clicked.

As long as you don't change it to a pointed hat and change your nick from lanux128 to lux128 and eventually to KKKlux128 everything is fine!

Some time ago, as i discovered CLCL, i had ClipX also tested. The only bad, if i remember correct from memory,
with ClipX was that ClipX stores its ini in the %Systemroot% folder. After an eMail exchange between me and Francis
he modifyed this behaviour and ClipX stores its ini now near the exe, in the same folder. To bad i was more familar with CLCL at this time. Maybe i should take the time and test ClipX again. Hmm, as i remeber it has a kind of search function ? Perhaps i found a few new suggestions i could tell Mr. Nakashima (with the kindly help of barlog of course) :-)
