Oh good gravy, me too... Thanks for reminding me

Here's some Gimp/Photoshop silliness of my own:
1-Take a random picture off the 'net.
2- Add a light saber.
3-???
4-Profit!!

I'm afraid to click. I'm not sure I want an annoying earworm.

But now that you bring it up, how about that Spice Girls song: "So tell me what you want what you really really want. I'll tell you want I want what I really really want." or whatever.

Oh carp, the worm has wriggled into my ear canal!

this reminds me of a short vid I saw some years ago, and which I've never seen since

It was titled something about why you should be careful about giving your child a light sabre for xmas (unfortunately the vid didn't end well for granny...)

if anyone knows the one I'm talking about and where I might find a copy I'd be most appreciative...

Okay, I clicked. And I recognized the music from a video game called Gauntlet^w.

Okay, so they're not exactly the same, but they seemed close enough.

Interestingly enough, Gauntlet came out in 1985, but The Final Countdown came out in 1986.

Edvard: I really like your granny-saber pic - she reminds me of Palpatine

Deozaan: Gauntlet on C=64...

From App's random pictures:

and two more from the light saber brigade:

If I do anymore, it risks becoming a forced meme so I'll stop now.

excellent roll going here the last 24hrs

ever since f0dder posted that "Cheers" (or should be "Prost" I guess) picture
It a close call all round but granny with sabre wins my photo of the day

mouser · « **Reply #93 on:** March 03, 2009, 04:26 PM »

have to agree with tomos, there is something about granny with a saber that is pretty damn cool.

Edvard · « **Reply #94 on:** March 03, 2009, 04:28 PM »

Thanks guys, it was actually my first attempt at a light saber effect in Gimp, and I thought it silly enough to post here.

Men? Ogling b00bies?? What? when? how?

Some of those are pretty funny! And my sensibilities have been _totally_ offended, especially by that Salma Hayek animation. Thank you.
