N.A.N.Y. 2018 / Re: NANY 2018 Release: Image Card Printer
« Last post by ibay770 on August 05, 2025, 11:42 PM »
Thank you very much for making this! This reminds me of the N up feature for printing but an easier way of doing it. Is it possible to make a context menu entry, so you can batch include a bunch of photos from the context menu?

Fluent search seems to be attempting to do this. It allows plugins so it should be doing at least some of that to some extent.

Thanks for making this.

Preme has this feature too, but yours seems a smoother implementation of it.

There was also Escape close but that was years old and doesn't always work.

Is it possible to get this working on 64 bit wim10?

I don't think this is quite the same thing, but some might find it useful - part of a post on TalkAboutShareware:

OpenWide by Luke Hudson

http://lingo.atspace.com/index.html

OpenWide was written to avoid a few [more] minor annoyances with Windows.
This program allows you to specify the position and size of Windows' Open and
Save dialog boxes, and also to specify where the initial focus should be and
which view will be the default.

Good luck with it and enjoy.

This is a test release. Limited testing has shown it to work on a release of
Win2000 Professional and a release of WinXP Home.

Features
Set position and size of Open & Save dialogs

Set initial keyboard focus

Set initial view style

Drag & drop folders onto the title bar of an Open/Save dialog box,
and the view will change to that folder!

Wish there was a way to make it remember all window settings, not just the open dialog

I think this should work.

Unfortunately,  I don't think it saves the resized window history though.

There are mnay tools like file locksmith or ecmo unlockit that unlock used files but you need to click several times to activate the program and file to unlock it. Im wondering if its possible to create a driver or something,  that automatically unlock the file in the background, kind of what anydvd did with dvds, it unscamrbled them in the background and let you know when it was done.

Looks good!  Can you add a syncing feature to export/import from the cloud?

General Software Discussion / List of taskbar toolbar software
« Last post by ibay770 on April 11, 2024, 02:21 AM »
I thought it might not be a bad idea to make a list software that works from the taskbar. Feel free to add what I missed.

TrayPlayer,  plays music

True Launchbar, a quick launch replacement

Everything Toolbar, search with everything search

Luachtaskbar, displays the daily prayer times for those of the Jewish faith.

I understand this site is mainly for those who want to code for free but if there is a bigger project nobody wants to freelance, perhaps there could be an option to pay for the coding. I'm curious to hear everyone's feedback

Something like the DNS requests feature in the Adaway app for android. I know there is wireshark but thats too bulky, it logs everything and all I want is to track which domains a program (chrome for example) connects too so I can block the tracking with a hosts file like someone did with Edge.

Thanks in advance.
