Thanks for showing me that setting for the first issue, but that doesn't quite do it. And it's the same issue as dcwul62 brought up in this post. I have a layout to sort so latest clip is at the top. Close CHS completely and reopen. The grid is scrolled to the bottom and now I have to scroll all the way up to get to the top clip. What am I missing here?
I must also be missing something here on the second issue. Whatever field I sort on in one folder applies to all the folders, no matter what layout I use. I understand that I can create a different layout for each different sorted folder, but that would be more time consuming than just manually sorting whatever folder you're in at the moment. It would be nice to have one layout where say folder A is sorted by date, folder B is sorted by order number, etc.

Thanks, I did that and it works as you state. However, there are two issues that maybe you can help me with. First, when the program is closed, not just minimized, and reopened I have to go into Layouts and select this one I created. Is there a way to make this new layout the default so when the program is reopened it will have this layout active? Second, I have another folder that I need to sort by the Notes field, is there a way to have one folder sorted by one field and another folder sorted by a different field?

I have the "Number of Items to Display from Quick Paste Group" set to 30, but the quick paste pop menu doesn't always show 30, sometimes it's less. How can I get this to always show the last 30 clips?

When I create a new clip the note field automatically populates with NOTE. I go into options, clipboard, clip naming and delete NOTE, then Accept, but it just repopulates. I want the default note field to be blank when creating a new clip, will someone please let me know how to do that?

Depending on what I need I use WordPad or Programmer's Notepad. I highly recommend Programmer's notepad for a plain text editor or for a full blown editor program for writing in various types of code. I'm going to definitely check out Notepad2 because of all the good reviews here.

I've experienced what cyberdiva has and am now back to Google. As for TaoPhoenix's advanced search, I'm glad I'm a "computer novice" because "regular search" has worked perfectly for me. I have no need to spend my time going to the advanced search options. Thank goodness for being a novice. Between Google and Facebook (those who use Google and Facebook) there's not such thing as privacy. It's going to be interesting where we end up as a society.

I personally am extremely thankful for Adblock Plus plugin for Firefox and I'm neither their employee, hired for contract, troll, or whatever else, just a user who has found the plugin outstanding and would recommend it to everyone. How do you like that for a run-on sentence

Maybe someone can tell me how to set the quick paste menu to display the last x number of clips (regardless of date and time) and to always show favorites.
Right now I have the options set to display 15 items from the Quick Paste Group and show favorites group on root popup menu. With these settings 16 items are actually shown and only one of four of my favorites is shown.
When I change the number of items to display, it always shows one more than the number set in the options. I assume the logic is the number set in the options plus the current clip, is this correct?
Anyways, I'm confused and I'm sure someone can help me out here:)

I thought the My Favorites clips are by default supposed to be in the quick paste menu. I can access My Favorites by <ctrl><alt>q, q, but I would like to just always have them listed in the quick paste menu.
How can I get My Favorites too always be in the quick paste list?
