Why not just configure Windows Update to: Download updates but let me choose whether to install them.

I was lucky to get Advanced Font Viewer 4.42 for free from Givewayoftheday.
I have absolutely no idea if it even is among The Best, but it suites me. However, the new version 5 is $97, which is absurd. There surely must be somethingboth better &cheaper!
