Has anyone found a way to report a false positive to these Websense jokers?  It never ceases to amaze me how these security services have no problem classifying things as malware for no reason and then make it almost impossible to contact them to have it corrected.

Thanks for the report.  Another false alarm by some lazy site -- FARR does no such thing.
Let me go look.

Notice that VirusTotal shows dozens of analyzers all report FARR as clean, only "Websense ThreatSeeker" has incorrectly listed it.

It should; it does here.

One thing to remember is that when piglet starts up it checks the memory use of these processes, and thereafter reports when they grow significantly beyond their initial memory use.

If that doesn't clarify the issue, give me some more details regarding what you think it should be doing and what it isn't doing.

I hope it's useful for you B4Marc -- do keep in mind that there is no way to explicitly check for memory leaks in other programs, and Process Piglet is not magic.  But it may help you identify any really bad memory leakers who keep using increasingly large amounts of memory.

There are no hotkeys used by SC that are not listed in the HotYes list -- something else must be going on.

And Ctrl+Shift+S is not a default hotkey for SC.

Maybe some other hotkey tool is mapping that combination to act like a PrintScreen keypress of some sort?

Greetings all.

Since 2007 we have held an annual event that we call NANY (New Apps for the New Year), where we ask the coders who hang out on DonationCoder to create some new piece of free software and share it with the world.

This month we have a special edition of the DonationCoder newsletter.  Instead of our normal roundup of the best posts on the forums in the last month, this newsletter highlights the new software released during our new year NANY programming event.

The NANY event is not a competition -- anyone can participate and everyone who does gets a coffee mug commemorating the event.  Some of these are polished tools with mainstream appeal -- while others are rough around the edges or were written simply as an exercise by the coder.  They are mostly tools for Microsoft Windows.  All are free.
