hm, well I think snopes is wrong in their closing remarks.

http://www.snopes.co...ss/bank/takethat.asp

Saying that should this situation present itself, it's more the customers fault.
I have to disagree, seeing that my bank used for 5 years of service (so far) will cover any checks with insufficient funds (I can't remember if there is a limit) for a period of 7 days before any rejection or penalties.

I use this beta 'Everything' since XP and now with W7.
It's at the bottom of the page.
Been working fine to me anyway.

XnView has a Shell Extension enhancement now.

http://www.snapfiles...om/get/xnviewse.html

Also there is CreativeDocs.Net for some interesting work.
A little slow at first start but a bit faster after that.

Unfinished Requests / Re: One word, three dictionaries
« Last post by cmpm on January 08, 2011, 10:36 AM »
This might be done through a clipboard helper program.
When I double click my clipboard entry it auto loads in the browser search box.
If it is open.

So maybe a clipboard program could be tweaked to load in the clip in open programs with a search box.

This does work with TheSage and ClipMate.
I think it will only work with the program that has focus though.
TheSage is the only dictionary on my computer.

Is there another worthy dictionary to download?

I think I'd like that mouse, a bit high priced for me.
But if it works for 10+ years it would be worth it.

You don't have to keep it on a flat surface is one benefit.

I find that the padded arm of my easy chair, or even the side of my leg, works just fine as a mousing surface.

Yeah, not as precise for me though. When precession is needed.
I'd like to try a laser mouse next.

I used to have a Trackball mouse. Liked it a lot.
You don't have to keep it on a flat surface is one benefit.
Could hold it in your lap, which is easier then the table sometimes.

Microsoft mice have a better feel and responsiveness to me then Logitech.

I use a MS Explorer 3.0. It has the two side buttons.
$25 I think I paid for it.
With IntelliPoint 8.0 there is tons of options.

Not fantasy/sci-fi, but a good game of chess is relaxing and strategy.

http://www.chess.com/

I play my brothers on it mostly.
And it is a well laid out site.

It doesn't complain about adblock plus either like another chess site I used before.

Ashraf, you are too modest, and I respect that.

I wanted to mention the many promos that are still active on your site.
And say Thank You.

Many of the older promos are still active for anyone's interest in browsing Ashraf's site.

I've done both, self-employed and employed by a company.
At the same time at one point.

One problem with being with a company is you have one 'client' who can fire you.

Being self-employed, one usually has multiple clients.
Loose one, gain another.

One problem with self-employed is your services are no longer needed on a large scale.
Killing the business.
Another problem is your tax is higher here in the US for self-employed.

And you are always working for someone in either setup.

Reminds me of the book '8 days of the condor'.
Later made into a movie, '3 days of the Condor'.
Quite prophetic, or was it already in play.

The UK has contributed much to free speech.
How soon is it forgotten?

Could be Avast stopping, or slowing the download.
Or Malwarebytes website blocking, not sure.
Is Avast on the other computers?

Disable or remove Avast and try on a trusted file that was a problem.

Just a guess and a shot in the dark.
With your knowledge, you've done more then I could.
