apropos of nothing, i didn't realize that AOL had sold ICQw to Mail.ru, the wiki link contains some pertinent issues regarding privacy and criticisms against the new owners. it might be worth taking note of that.

i'm an occasional user of Miranda IM (don't do IM much) but if you're looking for some eye-candy, you may want take a look at Digsbyw.

The stuff listed under privacy concerns on the wikipedia page for Digsby does not make me feel warm and fuzzy about it I must admit.

that's why i linked to the wiki instead of the official site so that the OP can make an informed decision. ;)

there are also some Miranda makeover methods which requires custom skins if you want to go down that route..

FRAPS show fps, record video game movies, screen capture software.

i just noticed that we have a head-start over Google on the "GooglePlus" name. there is an excellent Farr plugin with that name from way back in 2008. ;D

GooglePlus - View Google search results in FARR as you type

I just wish there was a way to back out of google+ without losing your google account, so I wouldn't have to deal with their asinine policies.

just saw this today while fiddling around the settings. might come in handy..

i used to have this problem but mouser fixed it through one of the updates, can't remember which one. i suggest deleting/renaming the ini file and make sure to have the latest version. also the number of images in the screenshot folder might have an impact, though i'm not sure.

lawsuits of this nature are only a barrier to free/fair trade and innovation. but then if you're sitting on pile of cash, a pile that is even bigger than what the Federal Reserve could muster, then smothering your competitors out of the market becomes a viable option.. after all paying millions to the suits are merely a small change.

right after "major victory", there is this teeny-tiny admission.

Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet confirmed that a district court in Dusseldorf, Germany, granted the preliminary injunction.

now we can expect a counter-suit by Samsung in the EU just like elsewhere and the case will drag on..

Computer A has game C with 300 hours of game play.

Computer B has the same game C but with only 5 hours of game play.
-cranioscopical (August 17, 2011, 06:39 PM)

is Computer B off-line when game C is played? in that case, you'd have to go online for the stats to 'catch up'. as Lashiec mentioned Steam backup function copies only the core game, the rest are to be copied manually (such as the save games). hopefully no registry entries are involved..

seems like the phone industry is consolidating.. with almost everyone on the planet having at least two mobiles each, the diversity of models and brands is becoming unnecessary. on one corner, there is the Microsoft-Nokia partnership and now Google is seeking to enhance its position by buying rather than partnership. otherwise there is no way for either of them to catch up with Apple.
