Pretty damn amazing:

A Minecraft builder has created a word processor, complete with keyboard and monitor, entirely in the game. And it isn't just for show. The build mechanically functions when keys are pressed, and can load files from memory. It has taken almost two years to build, and the builder plans to expand it into a full-on, working computer.

Welcome to the site, Hans!
I have had struggles with SpamAssassin in the past -- it can be very helpful but confusing.

With smf2 there is another official mod in the smf repository that supports inline attachments, using same techniques -- the one we use here is out of date.  Get the good one on the smf website.

I can't wait to read the full paper -- this is very cool stuff.

That's the key, of course. Birch and his colleagues essentially "brute forced" the game of limit poker, in which there are roughly 3 x 10^14 possible decisions. That, according to some estimates, is more possible permutations than hands of poker than have ever been played in human history.

but I'd prefer not to lose the info I've already put in When Last.

I will try to get a data file import-export function working in the next week.

Until then, uninstalling will lose all of your data, so be careful not to.
(if you have root access, you can get your data file from the data/data/com.donationcoder.whenlast directory in a file called entrymanager.json, and back it up before uninstalling and then replace it.)

Make sure you try out the new feature that lets you list contents of a folder sorted by date and with dates shown.. could be useful for documents folder nodes.

For my use, and others like me, it would be nice to have the option of pinning LBC to the taskbar, or placing it in another toolbar, and to raise it by clicking the icon. And optionally have it disregard hot-keys.

Ok so a few thoughts -- for some of us who like to use LBC as a menu, LBC has a built-in way to minimize to the SYSTEM TRAY (bottom right of screen aka "the notification area"), where you can click and use it as a menu.
If you need it to be elsewhere of course, that won't do you much good.

In addition to your way of sending a hotkey via AutoIt though, there should be a commandline option to pop up LBC under the cursor as a menu.. There is actually such a commandline option described in the Tips and Tricks section of help, however, for some reason it doesn't seem well suited for easily popping up the entire menu under the cursor -- so i will add this in next release.

« Last post by mouser on January 06, 2015, 09:24 PM »
it apparently recognized that I already have the app installed, since the options it offered me were Uninstall and Open, not Install or Update.  I checked and I have version 1.12 installed, and the one in Play Store is 1.13, so it should have offered the Update option.

that's unpleasant.. i figured the play store might not help you update if you downloaded it elsewhere, but that's pretty crappy that they don't at least tell you there is an update available.

a search for When Last, it didn't appear until #29

well i suppose the fact that it only has 5 downloads is reason enough for it to be at the bottom of the list :)
ps. if you type it in with no spaces ("whenlast") it does show first.

Living Room / If Only Once, If Only For A Little While - Comic about loss
« Last post by mouser on January 06, 2015, 12:45 AM »
Nice short comic strip on coping with loss of someone close to you.
It's just a one page thing, not an ongoing series.  Nothing new here but it's still nice and may touch a nerve.

If Only Once, If Only For A Little While is a comic about loss, coping, and the ways we deal with grief.

I've updated the releases with a fix for text wrapping on small screens.
Also, I've published the android app's on the google play store, where you can rate/review them if you like (yes please!):

ps.
I listed the apps on the google play store to purchase for 99 cents.  I decided to try that instead of listing them for free -- most of the time free in these app stores seems to mean covered in ads, so I thought 99 cents might be a cleaner approach.  But you can always download the apk's directly from the first post on this thread to get them for free.  The only advantage of getting it from the app store is the auto-updating feature.
