Oh, and for the procedure I was doing, there's one other thing that would help that no editor does (that I know of). Let me specify the dimensions first, in pixels or percentage, in a dialog box. Click OK, and the selection rectangle is placed on the image at the exact size and can then be moved around to select the desired area of the picture. That would really help a lot, because even with the sticky selection, it's not that easy to change the width or height by 1 pixel or so.

i use IrfanView to do the above. there is a dialog box to set the dimension in cm/inches/pixels (it can't do percentages though) and you can use right-click to drag the selection around. the screenshots might be more useful..

Amnesty International terminated the agreement on cooperation in “Afterfall In:Sanity $1 pre-order” action.  AI justify it’s decision with a fact that the game is shockingly brutal.

The decision to terminate the agreement reached us before the end of pre-order action. In a document explaining the reasons of breach of cooperation representative of Amnesty International in Poland commentates that the brutality of the game doesn’t go hand in hand with Amnesty International ideology.

if you're a newcomer, then jump straight into IV. about game-play, it's called an open, sandbox, roaming-type of a game with some driving involved. you can also tune in to numerous in-game radio station while cruising in your car which may or may not be yours. in other words you're free to run around and do whatever you want as long as you can get away with it!

2. After I download a 1GB+ install, I expect to be able to keep it to install later (especially non-DRM'd items).  It actually *deletes* the root install program, i.e. if you run setup.exe to set something up, it *deletes* setup.exe once you install.  A way around that is to copy the file as it's downloading/running, but really, why?

i'm a steam user too but there has been an occasion where i used the gamersgate installer (thanks to a generous DoCo member). that installer had an option to "keep temporary files", so i don't know whether it's the norm or exception. maybe this can help you.

How do you uninstall this? I tried to install it and I have a right click menu but nothing happens. I need to uninstall it and then try to re-install but I dont see how to do this? I think I am in the right place for Files 2 Folder?

this is from the help file:

; Installation -------------------------------------------------------------

1) Unpack archive to a folder of your choice.

2) Run the Files2Folder.exe.  A message box will pop up asking you if you would like to register the shell extension.  Click yes.

3) A shortcut will also be created that will allow you to unregister the shell extension if you wish to do so.
   
4) Alternately, you can silently install Files 2 Folder using the -s switch like this:
    c:\path\to\Files2Folder.exe -s

   To silently uninstall use -su.
