I'll look into multiple level undo as well.  ps. a good useful tip is Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down to scroll through past search history (or type: historys).

fcalc: yeah i'm afraid that is part of fcalc to reset search to fc.

ok it sounds like i should be able to fix the stay open/focus issue by having ctrl+# behave as if "Always Maintain Focus" option is set, yeah?

Ok I see the option in KeePass, and for some reason it's disabled by default and marked as "not recommended" -- no sign as to why:

If you enable that, it will tell CHS not to save such entries to clipboard.

NOTE: We should still try to get to the bottom of what is happening with the ignore feature problem you describe, so any clues you can find about that I'd like to hear.

How strange..
Ok let's try to pinpoint what's going wrong..

You say that "However on restarting the computer, clipbaord help+spell will for some reason "forget" the setting (even though the settings are still there) and start copying everything from that program again!"

So does this mean that the program names that you put in the ignore list are still present in the options? But CHS is not ignoring them?

If you then close the options after checking them, does it start ignoring after that?


I've written about this before, but the best solution for telling CHS to not copy such stuff to clipboard is to have those security applications properly tag such clipboard data as something that should be ignored by clipboard tools.  There is a flag that has been established for this: "CF_CLIPBOARD_VIEWER_IGNORE", and according to KeePass, they should support it: http://keepass.info/...ws/n071012_1.09.html

Can you check to see if maybe this is disabled in your KeePass or something like that?

you have the latest, i just didn't update version number.

the folder navigation issue is a bit odd -- i do have an idea how to fix though, so hopefully i will fix for next version.

as for icons.. that's trickier.. anyone else notice anything odd?
does the icon problem happen in both large display mode and small display mode?
there is a setting on the Tweaks tab that might be worth a try too.

As a guest I was thinking, the words "TellWhenDone1.6.0.zip (451k)" surely must give a file if clicked - but it was a dead end. Instead one has to press a microscopic and unnamed blue arrow situated far out in the margin.
Indeed i hadn't even realized what Curt was talking about until i went back to the page.  If you click on the filename link it leads to a new page and then a failed download.  but if you click on the tiny blue arrow at the far right margin it works.
Surely the links for the filenames are broken.

Unfortunately not.. it's been asked for before -- it would sure be nice but it's not possible.  best you can do it play with disabling the scoring patterns on the scoring patterns tab and see how that effects scores.

These two are from a brand new feature, they both read REGISTRY entries which keep track of recently opened documents and launched files.
It turns out that the %SPECIALSYS_APPS% one is basically useless (at least for now), which is why it's disabled by default, since windows only seems to track recently launched INSTALLERS.. not something you'd often want to search for again.
But the %SPECIALSYS_DOCS% is useful list of recently opened documents.

You can disable these if you don't want them -- they  simply make it faster to find recently opened files.

Related question: is there any way to give FARR a path and see how it gets resolved?
hey that's a good idea! ill see if i can't add this as a feature somewhere.

It's an occasional bug that happens with the "unread posts" feature -- it usually fixes itself. I've run the forum cleanup feature which may help.  Another thing that often fixes it is if you click the "mark all unread" button.
