yes, i tried opening the last mcf (the one that is corrupted) but then it doesn't work as LC goes into a cpu-cycle consuming frenzy and i had to kill it...

hmm.. i think i get it. this option is used whenever i right-click on an item in the search result, and choose either "Explore here" and "Explore at linked location".

however, it doesn't works for me because i use Servant Salamander which requires that folders are sent to the Exe as a command line parameter. so what's the string variable for an item in F+rr's search results (e.g. %s or %d).

Command line parameters of Salamand.exe
You can specify current directories in panels after execution of Servant Salamander. These directories can be passed to Salamand.exe as first and second command line parameter. So 'Salamand.exe "C:\Program Files" D:\' will execute Servant Salamander with "C:\Program Files" in the left panel and "D:\" in the right panel.

yesterday my pc crashed & upon restart, LC wouldn't appear eventhough it was taking up CPU usage upto 90%. since it seems that my user files have corrupted, i moved the *.mcf and *.mcp files to another folder. after which LC appeared with no problems, asking me to configure the docks. so, my questions:

1. is it possible to repair the corrupted files?
2. if it's not possible, can there be an option to auto-backup these files?

just curious about this option: Custom File Explorer. since F+rr can't search for folders yet, i was wondering what is the use for it. is it there, in case, for future implementation of folder search?

hi,

it would be very useful if there is an auto-play option after a playlist has been generated, just to listen without saving the playlist (i.e. save to a temp playlist).

on another note, the dividers on the "Black List" & "Must Have List" tab can't remember its position. they get reset if i click on any other tab. can their position made to be persistent? also, is it possible to have vertical dividers instead of horizontal?

CheckQuota is the professional monitor program for directories. It monitors directory size and sends alerts if a limit was exceeded.
But CheckQuota has much more features. So it can works like a real disk quota program. Real disk quota this means, it can lock directories the write access for specified user if a maximum usage limit was reached.

Now i have no LBC-context menu anymore if i click into the area where the bar is.
I have to right click on an item at the bar and use this context menu.

just found these.. when in the folder option, i enter some keywords into the "Reject file patterns", the links are displayed in distorted casing.

Fig A: Some keywords go here.

in the meantime, you can install CopyURL. after installation, if you choose "Shell Context Menu .." from farr, there'll be some extra options for URL links.

CopyURL is a shell extension that helps you to copy different information from your Internet Shortcut files (entries in the Favorites folder or *.url files) to the clipboard. Then you can simply paste it from clipboard to your e-mails, HTML editor or other documents. It adds commands Copy URL, Copy Link and Copy Name to the shell context menu of Internet Shortcut files...
