i think all explorer alternatives worth its salt would have this option or at least provide a hotkey to shell out to an editor of our choice. anyway, you may want to try this: A43 File Management Utility.

AVG latest update seems to have screwed up things. also a concern in this  topic. someone would have to write-in & let them know, someone who is using the premium edition that is..

this is common with AVG. in fact, Skrommel's MultiMonMan is also flagged down as having Trojan horses. but as jgpaiva stated, rest assured that this is a false  alarm, probably due to AHK's internal structure..

like jgpaiva, i too use the shutdown tool in WinXP. btw, shutdown -i opens a gui interface..

you may want to try Dimio's DShutdown. among other things you can set it to shutdown after finishing a particular task.

There are monitoring options that allow you to shutdown a PC after a particular application terminates (useful at the end of compressing several files). There are also options to shutdown a PC when Internet traffic reduces below a particular data-rate (useful to shutdown a PC when it has finished a large download).

1st of all, tks mouser for this release. so far so good. though i never had a noticeable lag before but the instantaneous appearance of farr's window in this version is amazing!

the "Try to keep search directories in System Cache for faster search (experimental)" also looks cool, will test-run over a period of time to see any significant improvement.

also tks for fixing the custom explorer/browser links.
