i use maxthon as an alternate browser to view sites that give problems in firefox. why not use the same method? it's an easy way out. ;)

if you right-click on an empty space of taskbar, and uncheck "Lock the taskbar" item then you'll be able to adjust quicklaunch toolbar.

yes, it's not a problem in DC forums. but BBCode comes in handy when you are using the keyboard exclusively or at forums with poorly arranged buttons. ;)

app, maybe it's a problem with AOL Explorer? you can try installing it on some other PC and view this forum to see if the problem is replicated.

yeah, i figured that the download link might be tied-up with the serial number somehow. so i didn't want to risk invalidating Jibz's serial number. i'll just have to wait & see if they're going to make the download link available again.

Seems to only occur when opening pages in a new tab from a link (like the unread posts page)...and only this forum.

in my case, if i use the delete key or backspace key then the scrollbars will appear when previewed.

maybe we can start a poll to see how many are affected by these mystery scrollbars and whitespaces. ;)

That page has so much whitespace that SnagIt chokes on it and can't capture the page. :o

have anyone noticed that sometimes the posts have scrollbars eventhough there is nothing to scroll? there isn't even a line-feed or hard return. in my case, i usually hit 'enter' twice to get rid of them. anyone with a better solution?

CamStudio always looked like a viable option and needs further looks. btw, its author has restarted work on the program and is asking for help to continue the app's development.
