Find And Run Robot / Re: DC Updater FARR & Twitter Plug-In Issue
« Last post by hamradio on July 09, 2009, 10:52 PM »
Did you fix Data Generator like I mentioned?

character table and data generator are obsolete -- they were merged into czb's amazing czb pack:
https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=17153.0

so delete those in your directory and install the czb pack version.

As far as the
"C:\Program Files\Find + Run Robot\AliasGroups\Installed\twitter"

there HAS to be 2 copies in your FARR directory somewhere -- search for all .dcupdate files under C:\Program Files\Find + Run Robot\ and youll see them.
delete the older one which inside the .dcupdate will say twitter alias v 2.0
that will leave you with the good one.

Okay, I corrected the CZB, per your instructions, but I would like to know the possibilities/functions of that plug-in. Anyone post that info?

As far as the duplicate Twitter issue, I followed your instructions and found the older copy. All is well at that end.

Once again, thank you so much! And any info regarding the CZB features are much appreciated!
Cheers!

Data Generator wasn't merged as that is one of my plugins. Just the dcupdate file you have points to the wrong url instead of donationcoders in the url like it once was it is now dcmembers.

On a side note I think I updated the dcupdate file in the one online @ http://carrolld.dcmembers.com/datagen/

Just download and replace the dcupdate file for Data Generator is all you have to do and let me know if that fixes it.

Wow!  Thanks very much, mouser!  Have you also created software to keep you going at top speed and efficiency without any sleep?  If not, I don't know how you do it!  (And if you have created such a program, please share it with the rest of us  :) )

Your welcome and sure I will make the individual note delete more polite.

Thank you for the plugin. It is the first plugin I test.

Something I don't like, but is very minor, is the dialog for deleting a note. It is ALL CAPS and really it hurts my eyes. Can you please make it a little more polite ?
That's my only complain so far. I may or may not be using your plugin. I must test it against the solution I use (portable pstart, without key shortcut, but with remainders...)

One problem...August has 31 days. ;D

The scrollbar does not adjust right when you want 1 column of colors. See screenshot...

Other than that it looks pretty good and skwires suggestion seems like it would make it even better too.

I am not affiliated with them but...with google I found a site that appears to talk about the Acer Aspire One in detail. I have not looked at the site much. The site is "http://www.aspireoneuser.com/". Might be worth a check.

Thank you! Some more useful tips...Right click on a result of the search for a context menu and also notice the farr2 status bar icons.  You can also press enter to view a note within farr2 and see more statusbar icons too. They have useful features. :)

hamNotes has been released please see the first post for the link and info. :)
594
For a small footprint & completely portable file search check out X-Find from Xteq.

Writes settings to the registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xteq Systems\X-Find\1.0
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xteq Systems\X-Find

Which makes your point what exactly?

He may mean if it writes to the registry then it is not a completely portable application cause it leaves its footprints behind in the registry.
595
Public version soon after another release of farr2 as it will require it, also after I finish the website and readme for it. :)

Please extract it to a directory named hamNotes in the FARR2 Plugins

If you have any questions/comments/bugs let me know.

Before you report a bug please make note that this plugin requires FARR version 2.66.01 or greater to use correctly.
We recommend FARR version 2.68.01 or greater.

Find And Run Robot / Re: KlipKeeper Problem
« Last post by hamradio on May 14, 2009, 02:09 PM »
It is "KlipKeeper_data.dat" and it should be in the directory. Rename that one for now then copy the "KlipKeeper_data.dat.bak" (that is the backup file) and rename it to the "KlipKeeper_data.dat" . It sure seems like the first one could of got corrupted somehow. Not sure other than that.  If that don't fix it see private for email to mail me the data file that it is saying that with for me to inspect it if possible.
