Is there any way I can hide the social media buttons and the translate drop down box at the bottom of each page? I don't need them and they bother me.

yes, just give me a week to take care of any other bugs and problems with the site/forum, then i can start adding options like this.

i can add a dropdown for the different kinds of inline images -- perhaps ill add it down by the button where you can choose files to attach.

Having to click OK on that dialog box each time you want to display an attached image is annoying.

well my assumption was that the attach image button is just basically a reminder of syntax -- most people attaching images regularly wont be using that button.

that button is just there to give you a hint/reminder/example if you don't know (or forget) how to put an image inside your post.

there was a big dropdown in text on inserting attachments with different types.

ah yes, i remember that now.. perhaps i will bring that back.

or i will just elaborate the text that is shown when you hit the image button (far left button on 2nd row of bbc buttons) to explain how to use the different tags.

I don't understand how to do attachments here. The old version had some five options for thumbnails, full size, and stuff.

Wraith -- are you by chance using a browser/device that does not show you a menu when you hover over the DonationCredits menu in your profile area?
This seems like it may be that problem -- where the choices of the different donationcredits pages are only available in a hover-over menu.

Another funny fact:
The recent list shows the original title of the thread, instead of the title (subject) of the last post of the thread (testing this now by inserting 'your' in the subject)

I dislike when "Unread topics: New | All" is the only option up top (except the Go To dropdown ofcourse). These two links don't include the threads I have posted in.

I added the GoTo menu with links to lots of useful pages.. I'm afraid the top area only has room for a couple of links, so we have to decide which are the most important.

Miles, check the new Go To.. menu, you will see an entry for "Unread replies", which I think is what you want.

Thanks for your patience!
The forum upgrade has taken place -- tons of fixes, upgrades, and changes.

Hopefully there won't be too many problems -- but there are bound to be some.  Please report them here.


A big thanks to dc member Stephen for all the help testing.
And thanks also to hamradio for doing some work on the badges and icons.

And a HUGE thanks to everyone who has donated to the site, especially during the last fundraiser -- it's only because of your support that it's feasible to spend the time on this kind of thing.

You can add a hotkey to your favorites group in CHS, and the hotkey will present you with a menu of all of your favorites.

Last question first -- you can nudge the selected region using cursor keys. Combine with alt/shift/control for different ways of moving/resizing.
