T-Clock / Re: T-Clock 2010 (download)
« Last post by anandcoral on February 26, 2016, 10:12 AM »
T-Clock is working OK.

I have given two line string for date and time with larger font. This way the taskbar height remain default and I get to see full date and time at a glance.

The top white line in the image is of DC forum which got captured.

Below images are better to explain.

T-Clock / Re: T-Clock 2010 (download)

Well, T-Clock is one of the first I install in every machine I work. From WinXp to Win10 now.

In WinXp I used to keep double size taskbar icons which gave amble height to have bigger font for T_Clock, better for my eyes. Also I wanted to see the day of the week at a glance, which it helps to achieve

Win10 the taskbar icons are by default double size so same configuration fits here too.

« Last post by anandcoral on February 11, 2016, 02:22 AM »
Thanks Stephen66515, did it.

Now I can see Dc Twits in my home page, but there is no indication of DC in my FB home page.
How do I see whom I am following in my FB page ?

« Last post by anandcoral on February 08, 2016, 10:54 AM »
Well I jumped in Fb and Twit pool at last.

I wanted to "follow" DC from both but alas I was all wet but could not reach my destination.

I looks so bad that even small kids are splashing water everywhere, I am struggling to find my way. I am getting old.

Please throw the life line and tell me how to swim to follow DC, as googling did not help.

Ha ! I do not think so.

AI can never be able to apologize to our wifes like we do, for no fault of ours.
AI can never sit in meaningless meeting with boss for hours and still smile.
AI can never...

AI is no match to our intelligence.

If HE decides to reformat, then obviously Noah will carry two of all.

How about having two programs for each languages, C#, Java, Code-C, DotNet etc. ? It would help rebuild our must have programs and Forums faster then. Instead of watching soaps on CRT TV or we better start with YouTube streaming on mobiles.

Huh, huh..

I started it anticipating some funny suggestion from friends. Thought "Living Room" was best place for it. But looks like I may be wrong.

I am a believer. I believe, it is Almighty GOD who has given me so much name and fame today. Before joining DC I was just a coder whom nobody knew. I will remain grateful to DC forever.

But I do not want to lose a friend just because I wanted to smile and get away from my hectic coding schedule. Please move this thread to basement or so and bring back our friend.

Anand

We all should petition GOD for a better version. Even M$ listened the users and made Win10 from Win8 !

The first feature I want is 48 or more hours per day. You can not imagine the pressure of NANY near the end, due to this limitation  :(
Second it would be better if we can run more instances of ourselves  :)

There are more but I leave others to add.

« Last post by anandcoral on January 20, 2016, 09:46 AM »
This might be of interest. It is something similar that I cribbed together from someone else's existing script(s) a while back. I've used it for a few years.
Yes, even Park Cursor Aside can be achieved by similar code. Actually I make this type of raw codes and use them as and when I need something that I can not find from net. Afterwards when I feel that it may help other too, I try to convert it in a proper app and put in NANY.

Well living in this world of IT industry, it has become my habit to check if new update of so and so has come up or not. Win10 updates itself and do not even tell me what has become new !!

But the world ! It still has 24 hours in a day. Hey come one we need more time for facebook, twitter, coding etc. and then we have to live also. I think GOD should update the world and add more features to it. What you say ?

Thanks mouser.

All websites are reviewing Move Aside Please so fast that I have to keep on hold the fixing of settings window. Everyone is mentioning that the 'settings' is clumsy or ini like etc., and I want them to settle down before I take up the fix.

Thank you Ath and all members who have donated me for Move Aside Please.

I have made Move Aside Please in just last 4 days, so the settings option is a bit primitive. But I am happy that users have liked it and Move Aside Please has be written about in different blogs and download sites, even in non-english sites, within these few days. Thanks all to DC  :)

My next priority is to make the settings more user friendly. Maybe give some more options, if possible.

N.A.N.Y. 2016 / NANY 2016 Release: Move Aside Please
« Last post by anandcoral on December 30, 2015, 02:14 PM »
NANY 2016 Entry Information

Application Name Move Aside Please
Version 1.0.0
Short Description Moves a window aside when mouse pointer is placed on it. You can also make the window semi-transparent.
Supported OSes WinXp and above
Web Page https://sites.google...ite/moveasideplease/
Download Link https://sites.google...asideplease/download

Description
During our work, many times we need to keep a small window of a program always on top of the desktop screen. This program may show network connection, mail status, auto updating messages etc. Now when we are working on some full screen program like editor, browser etc., this small window block the view of the part of the editor or browser.

Instead of closing or removing the small window, I wanted it to move aside from view when I hover the mouse cursor on it. This way I can easily view the blocked part of the editor or browser.

I could not find any such program by Googling, so I made "Move Aside Please".

Features
The window automatically moves up or down, when the mouse cursor hover over it. We can set the window titles which needs to be moved. Instead of moving the window, we can reduce its opacity, i.e. make it semi-transparent.

Developer's Corner / Re: Copy/pasting code and the last line effect
« Last post by anandcoral on December 09, 2015, 02:01 AM »
Happened with me many times. Either the compiler or the run time error points my mistake.

I think the mind really gets 'tired' of repeated copy-paste-change work and starts registering 'Oh come on, it is done' before the last line ends.  :)

Screenshot Captor / Re: SOLVED: Windows 10 OneDrive hijacks PrintScreen hotkey.
« Last post by anandcoral on December 09, 2015, 01:57 AM »
It's practically criminal that Windows doesn't/can't provide some sort of central, OS supported management of hotkeys.  Sometimes it's nearly impossible (or actually impossible) to figure out why a key isn't doing what you expect when it has been hijacked by some application.

ActiveHotkeys  by tranglos may help, to find out about the hotkeys.

Well soon I will be asking "Should I take the umbrella ?" to Cortana or Siri.
It looks similar to me asking this question to my wife now.

I dread when Cortana and Siri start replying like her !
