PowerWorship 3.0 was updated for Office 2010 :-)
Not many programs can claim such feature!

Sure thing, techidave; let's have a review!

FALSE ALARM!!!

Will Agnitum honour their words? So far, it seems *not*!!! I hope they very soon will realize that a lifetime license for Security Suite 2009 not just is a license for version 2009 only, but for the Security Suite. The word "lifetime" simply cannot point to a fixed version's number.

But maybe I yet just haven't found the proper way to update.

As I added; it's about finding the proper way to update:

Dear Curt,

Thank you for your message.

You can download Outpost Security Suite 7.0 from:
http://www.agnitum.c...y-suite/download.php

After installation, please, register it with your key.
Your key is valid for all versions of the product.

> *Congratulations on version 7 :-)

Thank you :)

I was merely using a link I had in Firefox, leading to the "Security Suite" page. The link was 'old' so it was (of course) leading to version 2009. I didn't stop to think they would have a special page for the new version 7. Yeah, I know... sometimes the answer is too easy...

Yes, Outpost may indeed be the problem...
Outpost is definitely not your problem,
I .... Outpost ..., and I have a lifetime license; so I (too) am looking forward to version 7.  ;)

You've stopped installing This & That, so you don't need to clean This & That.

-I guess most of our little kingdom is 'familiar' with at least one member of the Allers'. The woman in head of the dynasty is well-known for her visit to the northern Greenland and the North-pole on a sledge, for climbing Mt Everest, for being the first white person to ever visit certain man-eating Guinea tribes (and survive the meetings, that is), among other hobbies!

The Aller font is okay, but I don't like "Q" and "f".

Here's an interesting one. Looks like there's no upper case characters.  Still, it has kind of a cool look:
http://www.softpedia...Download-160055.html
One thing for sure, you don't need Bold with this!

It is hard for me to believe from the readme that the author is a Dane, since the font doesn't include any of the special Danish characters. Weird!

... Revo ... Can you say briefly what's so different about the Pro version?

-not really, I am afraid. The advert makes it sound as if is sooo easy to use. I don't think it is that easy. But a "30-day fully functional free trial" is available  so you may judge for yourself...

Your question is much too difficult for me, but...
why not just use a back up program, to save the mails,
and then simply delete the old ones?

For some time I was using Ashampoo Uninstaller version 3. I found it to be a bit annoying because of the nagging "scan now?" pop ups, so I didn't use it as often as I aught to. Nevertheless I didn't hesitate to upgrade to version 4. This one however, I hate! To find a solution I purchased a copy of Total Uninstal Standard version 5 because so many people will recommend it. But I don't like that one either. It may be good, but I think it really is a confusing piece of software. I even fail to see why I should upgrade to the Pro version.

So for half a year I have been using the free REVO only. For some reason Revo will always stop and wait for the user to click 'next' - which I really think is needless and a total waste of time - so I also tried the Revo_Pro version. But what is it with the Pro version? It is a like a completely different program! Tedious and tiring, I think.

I do remember using My Uninstaller several years ago, but now I think I will try Your Uninstaller. Do You mind?  I see some good men recommending it, so apparently You will let others use it as well!

what about a successor to Create-A-Card: Broderbund Calendar Creator Deluxe ?

http://www.broderbun...tor-deluxe-v121.aspx or another one from the same company? http://www.broderbun...-with-windows-7.aspx

I know you'll be paying for a lot more than you asked for, but I guess you also did that the first time you purchased it... MAYBE you should start with writing them and ask for an update? I *think* it is the same company, merely on a new site(?), but I don't *know*.

And I want a primarily HTML code program with a live preview pane
-HankFriedman (May 24, 2010, 04:42 PM)

-sorry; I thought too little of this at first  because i didn't understand/look up 'adjacent'.

What you want is a cup of coffee... or more precisely a CoffeeCup The HTML Editor 2010

http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/

But no free meal, not even free coffee!

pricetag_usd_49.png

Even the most hardcore programmer can’t look at a page of code and instantly tell how it’s going to look in a Web browser. That’s why the HTML Editor gives you three different preview options:

1) Want to see your page in a browser? You can do that — in fact, you can open up to 10 different browsers from inside the HTML Editor.

2) Don’t want to open a whole new window? We hear that. That’s why we built a browser right in the program — all you have to do is switch to a different workspace view.

3) And for the user who wants even more convenience, we have the Split-Screen Preview. It’s your Webpage, in a built-in browser, right below your code. It couldn’t be handier.

surely you must already have tested *today's* giveaway: http://www.giveawayo...m/ultima-website-17/

http://ultimawebsite.com/

This website editor is entirely in WYSIWYG mode, meaning 'what you see is what you get'. Therefore, there is no complicated coding required and anyone will now be able to design a website for themselves even with just a basic knowledge of computing. The website project is also stored on your computer in a single file.

edited: The program is written by Enplase Research, author of well respected registry and back up tools, etcetera.

Evo 8 is a WYSIWYG editor by all means. I have not yet used my copy, so I don't *know* much about it. If the code is clean or clean not, is a matter of definition. However; given a medal, it hardly produces "junk".

The trial version does not have any time limitations and will allow you to create 5 pages or levels max. You will not be able to upload your websites with this version.

I don't know where in the world you are from, parkint, (I am from Denmark), or what kind of English you normally speak, but to avoid a possible misunderstanding I better say that when I say it hardly produces junk, I do NOT mean it produces hard junk...  8)

General Software Discussion / Re: Kantaris Media Player
« Last post by Curt on May 23, 2010, 10:39 AM »
it is a little weird to see MediaInfo coming with Kantaris, so to speak (extra download via MediaInfo setup). I know the player has been updated several times and now actually is quite good, but there must be a (bad/poor) reason Kantaris hasn't been updated since December. I mean, it is not as it is all perfect - fine but far from perfection - so it should be updated, should it not? So why then is MediaInfo RECOMMENDING Kantaris? Do the two programs have authors in common, or something?

-I forgot I had the same confusing before the purchase. It seems that versions sold by Avanquest are numbered differently. On the Alcohol-soft homepage the Latest version is 2.0.0.1331, but Avanquest (in Germany) are calling the discounted version that they sold to me (5'th May 2010) for the new version 7.

This email quote tells that support is handled by Avanquest, and assumably not by Alcolhol:

Um den technischen Kundendienst für unsere Produkte zu erreichen, senden Sie bitte Ihre E-Mail mit einer genauen Problembeschreibung an [email protected]

-but the picture tells something different (@hotline-service.de)(maybe "you" will check inside a genuine Alcohol 120% and see who is really dealing with support?):
