« Last post by scancode on December 18, 2008, 08:15 AM »I was banned from posting on GOATD because I posted some registry keys that the uninstaller didn't remove. I e-mailed them twice asking what I had done wrong and I never received a reply.
The virus wanings ar false poitives. If you install a program that hooks into the system files and regisrty, most antivirus software will popup with a warning. An example is a nice program called Anvir Task Manager.
Giveawayoftheday's "inititive" is to help struggling developers from Russia and other Eastr Bloc countries. They are simply a marketing program site.
The Activate.exe file places the registration information in the regisry and then you run setup.exe and it sees the code and is immediately registerd as a full version.
I'd suggest anyone downloadng software from this site use Regshot to capture all the files and registry entries created by the install. Download it here:

To fully uninstall the progam, most are basical simplistic in desin and useless use Revo Uninstaller. Download it here:

Interesting read. It's quite obvious, you've been banned for sharing the keys that didn't get removed, aka the registration info.
Also, I don't think it's fair to use Regshot to get it... But that's just me.
