You're more than welcome.  I'm not sure there is another software out there that does quite what this one does (as easily).

I should mention that Drop Zone does verify your configured paths when it starts up.  If a path is invalid/missing, it does not add it to the popup menu.  If that path later becomes available, simply choose reload from that Drop Zone's context menu.

Cycling through available drives and comparing serial numbers is definitely doable.  However!  I'd hate to screw that up, you know?  I already dislike writing apps that muck around with people's files and folders.  It's one thing to pooch your own files and another thing, entirely, to pooch somebody else's.

I've been meaning to post this for a long while now.  Every time I use the ProcessKill plugin, I get the following error (which crashes FARR):

This is a very handy plugin.  Any chance we could see an update?

Very nice utility!

Thanks, 40hz.  Much appreciated.   :)

Does it have the capability of using assigned directories on flash drives where the drive letter may change?

No...but I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that.

Well, Vista, but I share the sentiment. Can we try borderless please old bean? Sorry to be a bit of an "Uncle Ted"

I've already got the window set to no caption and no border.  The Vista theme is adding that extra bit around your window.  I'm not sure there is much I can do about that.

Tim, have you had a chance to try out that latest build?   :)

Great program - I use it all the time and wanted to say thanks!

You're welcome.  =]  Welcome to DonationCoder.

Also I have a request, here's the commandline I use to run BootSnooze:
BootSnooze.exe mode=reboot method=hibernate bdelay=0 adelay=5
What I would like is to do my own reboot and have BootSnooze finish the process when the computer restarts. So what  would be entered in the RunOnce registry entry for the above commandline?

Currently, you can't because Boot Snooze uses both the registry and an INI file.  However, due to your request, I'll change it so that Boot Snooze uses the registry only so that you can create a REG file of your own to import anytime.  Thanks for the feedback.

I can't seem to grab this - the download stops about two-thirds of the way through?

Hm, looks like that server needs a kick in the butt (or a disk is failing). It's slow as mud through a coffee filter... from about 2 MB of 3.55 and stopped at 2.34 MB, first part was quite OK :'(

Seemed to work for me just now...

Sorry to make you confused, I mean some bigger text box (not just one line text box) with 2 or 3 rows space and maybe with scroll button, like the one we see in Donation Coder forum when we post reply.. :D So if I put some long text I could simply scroll up and down to see all of my text.

The hesitation I have in doing this is it would give the impression that SnapDB can display multi-line bits of information (which it can't).  Saving and restoring mutil-line bits is easy enough but displaying them in a standard listview is not possible.

But, it's a pity that the review is about the initial version.  Although it may be hard to see from it's version number, the functionality of Ten Timer is improved significantly. 8) (Thanks again, Skwire!)

Hi skwire, really nice apps you have here.. Thanks for the good job.

You're welcome.  Thanks for the kind words and welcome to DonationCoder.

I've used snapDB for many types tables, including one with date type data and memo type data.  :D

However, I do have some questions / requests regarding snapDB. Is it possible if snapDB implement some kind of "sort by date" function? I sometimes need to sort my data based on date.

The problem is that the listview columns sort alpha by default and must be changed programmatically to sort in different ways e.g. numerically/integer.  The problem with dates is that they're neither.  You would almost need to have a separate column that kept YYYYMMDDHH24MISS timestamps to be able to sort dates properly.  All that being said, I have given some thought on how to allow configuration of sorting options on each column.  I just haven't come up with a good solution (yet).

And last, do you mind to provide any option to use comment box instead of text box to input/edit/read memo type data?

I'm not sure what you mean by a comment box.  Do you have a screenshot of another app that uses one?

N.A.N.Y. 2009 / Re: NANY 2009 Release: Trout (audio player)
« Last post by skwire on February 05, 2011, 10:46 PM »
Did you ever played with idea that you would put stop, forward, etc. buttons in one line at the bottom of Trout and volume beside it like in movie players like Kmplayer, PotPlayer etc.?

Oddly enough, no, I never did.

Could you make stop, forward, etc. buttons colorless (without black color inside)? The first thing I notice in Trout when I open it are the buttons  :D (they are too big anyway - even for person with glasses like me  :D).

I've always had plans to allow Trout users to specify their own glyphs to use for those buttons.  I've just never gotten around to implementing it.  I know mouser (and others) will back me when I say this but sometimes, when writing applications, certain features & additions get pushed aside because the writing the user interface for it is ten times the work that writing the actual feature is.  This is one of those cases.  To that end, I should be able to add in basic colour options for the glyphs (they're actually Webdings fonts) on those buttons.  This way, you can mute the black to whatever colour you want.

To save us a bit of breath, which ones have you tried?  I use the one built into PS Tray Factory but that's most likely overkill for your purposes.  Have you tried RBTray?
