For a short time, anyone can purchase our ESBCalc Pro Suite as a special upgrade for $15USD by using this PayPal URL: http://bit.ly/gmRw8D
I purchased and got the full suite with no prior ownership. Great price for a great product.

Thanks for tellng, moonwatcher, and for confirming, edbro! I too made the purchase even though I have never used anything but their free Unit Converter; $15 for a lifetime license for all their products is simply too good an offer not to take!

Living Room / rare news mail from ESB
« Last post by Curt on December 23, 2010, 04:49 AM »
The mails from ESB are so extremely rare, that I thought I would post this one, simply for your information only! The company is very busy, but they don't spam, to say the least.

If you not yet are familiar with ESB software, they produce Scientific Calculators and Unit Converters that you only need to register once, all upgrades are free for the life of the product. Note: The $39 (edit: see next post!) asking price for their Suite will increase as more calculators are added, the first one already in January, but this will not affect registered users. I find their Suite to be a real bargain. http://www.esbconsul...om/esbcalc/suite.htm

They also offer Freeware: ESB Calc - Free Scientific Calculator with Paper trail, and ESB UnitConv - Free Unit Conversion Software. Latest Release: v7.2.0 released 14 May 2010.

To:    ESB Unit Conversion mailing list
Hi,

For those that celebrate Christmas (as we do), ESB Consultancy wishes you a truly blessed Christmas - and we wish all our customers a truly prosperous 2011.

esbcalc-btn1.gif

Well we have managed to get the new releases of our Scientific Calculator ESBCalc Pro (v8.1), our Unit Conversion Software ESBUnitConv Pro (v8.1) and our Programmer´s Calculator (v2.1) out in the last few weeks - as well as our new Financial Calculator, ESBFinCalc Pro (v1.1).  Suite Owners have also had access to our upcoming Date Calculator, ESBDateCalc Pro.

More info at: http://www.esbconsult.com/esbcalc/

esbunitconv-btn1.gif

In January, we hope to get our Date Calculator finished and released - the feedback has been very encouraging for this product.

We have had many requests for a RPN Scientific Calculator - so we will seriously investigate that once the Date Calculator has been released - and we would still like to get the Complex Number Calculator out.

We have lots more work to do on the Financial Calculator - especially in the securities and bonds side of things.

escsml.gif

We always have more conversions to add to the Unit Conversion - and we appreciate your feedback to help prioritise these - and we will be looking at a way to allow mixed units - eg 12 feet 3 inches - to be used - though this may be initially as a tool. Plus we have a lot of items on the wish list (many thanks for all who have contributed) to give us much to think about.

We need to work out how best to allow "floats" in the Programmer´s Calculator as well as some tools that customers have suggested.

And I always seem to think that our flagship product, ESBCalc Pro, is pretty much finished and then we get some excellent suggestions for improvements - so keep them coming - whilst we can´t promise we can do all you would like, your input does help us decide where best to focus our efforts!

Current plans are for minor updates to most existing products in January - as well as new releases of our Freeware ESBCalc and ESBUnitConv.

I had clearly forgotten why I don't use FFmpeg: authors, offering their applications packed in "bzip2 tarball" or "gzip tarball" only, are doomed to be neards writing nerdish programs for neards. One can never trust such people to deliver userfriendly solutions.

This is how it could/should be done:

Okay, you read it before I deleted it. I was talking about Google Image Search, you may have been talking about a normal Google-"word-search"?

I was just checking my Firefox addons, and realized that I don't know why I have no thumbnails. It must be your personal settings at Google, determining what feature is being used. I don't know.

I may have read  it wrong, but to my (lack of) understanding, all hulkbuster was asking for, is a program to capture the text from popup message boxes. I know it was without saying, but I assume that was because he didn't know such programs exist.
Am I wrong, hulkbuster?  :tellme:

-hmm... will it be a "normal" Lavalys license key? Maybe/maybe not

http://www.aida64.com/everest-upgrade

To verify whether you are eligible for an AIDA64 upgrade, please follow the steps below

   1. Fill in the form below. Make sure to enter a valid EVEREST product key that was obtained from Lavalys, Inc.

   2. Once you fill in the form and press the Submit button, your license will be verified for validity.

   3. Depending on the type of EVEREST license you enter:
         1. In case you have an active EVEREST license – a license that has a not-yet-expired maintenance period – then you are eligible for a free AIDA64 upgrade. You will receive an e-mail with your new AIDA64 license shortly.

         2. In case you have an inactive (expired) EVEREST license – a license that has an already expired maintenance period – then you are eligible to purchase an AIDA64 upgrade license. I was surprised to notice how little the photographer is telling about his gear, his equipment, on Flickr's they quite often talk about nothing else ;-)

I used a digital SLR camera and a 400mm lens. I also used a special custom-built robotic camera mount,

This panoramic photo was stitched on a Fujitsu CELSIUS workstation comprising dual 6-core CPUs, 192GB of RAM, and a 4GB graphics card.

Using this excellent workstation allowed this record-breaking photo to be created a few weeks faster than would have been possible on any other available PC.

Wonder if I should look under "desktops" to find such a power plant...
Can normal private people even buy such a beast?

Not questioning your opinion of the product or your satisfaction with WhiteSmoke.

 :tellme:

I don't like WhiteSmoke that much, in fact I don't use it. WhiteSmoke is acting as if A$hampoo is their idol, which pretty much is bad... but as it is with Ashampoo, there are things disappointing you, but in all the bill seems acceptable. For 3 years I have been upgrading WhiteSmoke major versions, and was getting mildly annoyed with the expense, but now I finally have a so-called lifetime license key for the program, and I don't think it was too expensive... Take that, Ashampoo! Regarding WhiteSmoke's methods, well, I assume the people behind WhiteSmoke are Russians... even if their address is in America... You may take it from there/here...

Besides, WGrammar hasn't been updated for more than 4 years. MAYBE WhiteSmoke purchased a license? Well, I don't know, because I didn't care to check your accusations, for the simple reason that WhiteSmoke is being constantly updated and improved, and WGrammar is not.
