Actually, nothing... you open the compartiment, the guy asks you for chocolate, you click it, and it disappears. then, just close the compartiment. (actually, if you don't open that compartiment, you still can get blastoff ;) )

how about giving us a little spoiler hidden hint about that colored box control thing on the bottom right.. it has be stumped.
don't click here!!
i used the scientist's tips. you click him, a dialog appears, you press the colours as he tells you, ticks appear on those boxes, and you can remove the scientist. (the scientist may give other clues, to get other stuff solved before those buttons)

Doing games must be interesting! This one's fun, but i think it misses "help", because people might not understand the point :P

Here's a strange behaviour:

Pretty, original, interesting, puzling and full of art. I consider this one one of the best flash games i've played. It's very entertaining, quite easy and full of imagination. I think it should be a bit bigger, though....

Here he is...

Actually, although (imo) it's a lame idea because this kind of stuff usually only gets jokes around it and not real atention, it actually is well done, the drawings are not bad at all, and you can vote on how you'd like the next part of the story to go! :D

Clipboard Help+Spell / Re: Beta access violation
« Last post by jgpaiva on June 26, 2006, 03:34 AM »
It has happened to me having such errors because when i installed the latest beta, it didn't remove the older program i had there (because apparently, it was named "clipboard help and spell.exe" while the new one is "clipboardhelpandspell.exe").

I also had a similar problem when i created a shortcut, so, how are you launching the program, from a shortcut or from the xexcutable itself?

Ok, i've just posted a small review at download.com.
But i can't see if it's there or not (download.com is kinda weird ).

I've seen this feature on CLCL, and found it quite useful.
Some apps use different keys for pasting (actually, i only know one, emacs).
If it was easy to implement, i'd like a way to specify that if it is pasting to an app listed, chs would use a different keystroke for doing it.

General Software Discussion / Re: Opera and Gmail users might like this
« Last post by jgpaiva on June 25, 2006, 05:18 PM »
Well, for me the most annoying thing is that I cannot use advaced mode and hit ´back´ becaue it gets stuck on "loading". I use gmail in standard html mode... or I have to hit reload after back everytime. Do you have that problem?
Oh, i know what you refer! Yeah, i've had that before. I've grown used to it, though. I don't press the back button on gmail anymore.

I've digged a bit, and found out that the back button works on ie and firefox.
I also found that the fact that it doesn't work in opera, is related to an option the opera people took, in order to maintain another feature (i believe related somehow to the fast history in opera, but not sure, digg a bit if you'd like to know more).

So, i just hope they'll fix it asap :)
For now, i'm happy with not having gmail stealing the focus anymore! (i hate apps that do that!  :trout:)

General Software Discussion / Opera and Gmail users might like this
« Last post by jgpaiva on June 25, 2006, 09:45 AM »
Ok... You use opera and gmail?
What's the single thing that most anoys you about gmail?
Wait... Don't tell me... It's the damn tab always gaining focus after the gmail page has opened!

Ok, so, here's the solution: go to:

Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Content -> JavaScript options -> Allow raising of windows
And no more of that anoying behaviour!!

General Software Discussion / Re: MouseImp Pro Live!- useful mousetool
« Last post by jgpaiva on June 25, 2006, 06:11 AM »
I've tried it just now, and found it can be very good. By removing the scroll bars, we get more screen space, and the program works in a similar way as adobe's acrobat, which i find very intuitive (grab and drag the page itself). This can also be inverted, and it works just like the scrollbars do.

Now, for the bad part: i can't use the right mouse button, that would interfeer with opera's mouse gestures (NOT GOOD! ;) ). And if i select the left mouse button as trigger, i won't be able to select text to copy and such without pressing the disable key. So, i think this program misses one small feature: an activation area. It'd be very useful if i was able to have it scroll the windows only when the mouse was on the right 10% of the window or such.

 ;D ;D ;D Yeah, it's a bit sad when that happens!
That also happens here, my home number was always getting calls that were supposed to go to a local school, and the best part is that my number isn't even on the listings, as it is confidential!

According to the About dialog box, I'm now running 1.10.03, so I'm ahead of you.  ;)
Yesterday mouser changed one minor thing in the find & replace dialog, thus the new version numbering.

I'm not sure about this, but i think my chs isn't storing the "separator to use between merged clips" field, as it stays right if i change it, but if i close chs and restart it, it'll be the default one again.

Hellie:
You need to focus it, press print-screen, open ms paint, paste there, save and put here.

OR, download Screenshot Captor, focus the window on ctrl-alt-del and hit printscreen and it'll save it for you.

I love this update!
The new clip merge is very good. Now, only one small request: a right-click menu when several clips are selected, so that the merge option can be selected there instead of going to edit->merge.

Other than that, it works great!

(BTW, i've just found out about the modify feature, and i'm loving chs even more, this is very handy!)

very cool - and completely useless as a real gui in my opinion.
I would say it's completely useless as it is right now. But, with some alterations and in combination with the multi-touch screen, it might even improve it's interface.

Notice that in the end, the photographs and web page manipulation is quite impressive, easy, fast and intuitive. On the other hand, on the multi-touch screen video, the while the photographs manipulation is the most interesting part (for me), the photographs are al spread around the screen, with no organization. In that situation, it might be handy to have the pile method.

As for the other features (phisicly realistic colisions, snap to the wall, pile on the air, etc.), i couldn't care less for them ;)

I'm very sorry to hear that, i think the codyquotes really are a great idea.. :(

Yes, you're right, i meant "autorun", and not "autoplay" in my whole reply.
As for autoplay, it can be disabled by right-clicking the flash disk on explorer and seeing in it's properties.
