It's really easy to add custom tools to the Tool menu -- you can do that entirely from within the program.it is surreal to see my custom tools menu from 3 years ago. btw, some of the tools are quite obsolete due to advances in SC. however, the idea is still valid.
You can also create little .sctool files which can be shared so that others don't even have to do that much.-mouser (September 10, 2013, 10:51 PM)
This is a .NET 4 (full, not client) build. There is no installer - it's simply unzip & run. There is no new functionality. The only change is an update to .NET 4.thanks for the update!-Renegade (September 10, 2013, 09:38 PM)
So i broke down and got myself a new router (ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-N 600 Router RT-N56U).
So I'm using stock firmware on this for now; i *MIGHT* put tomato on this router, i might not.-mouser (September 06, 2013, 03:52 PM)

You said that it's using the backup instead of the latest -- is it possible instead that its merely resetting to all default options?i had assumed SC is restoring from the backup but as you highlighted it is plausible that the settings are just being reset to the defaults.-mouser (September 03, 2013, 01:19 AM)
Second question: is it possible that this behavior only happens after restarting the computer?sometimes it happens after restarting the computer but it also happens when cold-booting the PC.-mouser (September 03, 2013, 01:19 AM)

In the ~15 years I've been in IT, I've only run across that scenario once ... And when I finally (noticed the red dot on my shoe...) figured out what was happening damn did I feel like an idiot.-Stoic Joker (August 29, 2013, 11:38 AM)

2013-08-29: I just updated the OP mini-review with some of the comments above.
Thanks, chaps.
I too think the Logitech mice are superb. I shall probably do a review of the Logitech M515 ("Couch") Mouse that my daughter uses.-IainB (August 28, 2013, 06:39 PM)
