1. Right-click the taskbar and open the Windows Task Manager application.
2. Launch the Brother program from the tray icon.
3. In the Processes tab of the Task Manager, find the Brother scanner application executable in the list.  If you can't find, or don't know, the executable name, use the Task Manager Applications tab to right-click the task and choose "Go To Process" which should take you to the executable name in the Processes tab.
4. Right-click the executable and choose Open File Location.  A Windows Explorer window should open with the executable already highlighted.
5. In this Windows Explorer window, right-click the highlighted executable and choose "Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)" from the menu.

Of course, this set of steps assumes that the Brother scanner program has its own executable.  Please let us know if that's not the case.

    ! Fixed a file order bug where wallpapers would start with the second in the list instead of the first.  (Thanks, Martin E.)

v1.1.1 - 2018-05-08
    + Changing the Wallpaper Position and Fill Color options refreshes the current wallpaper.  (Thanks, ConstanceJill)
    + Added option to not randomize the image list.  (Thanks, Martin E.)
    * "Fill (by width)" has been renamed to "Fill" and should now work properly with very wide images.  (Thanks, Martin E.)

Actually, I do, because I really like for my bookmarks to be synced between browsers and computers (and haven't been able to since XMarks was shut down).  I've tried a couple of other solutions but none have worked consistently, so I'm holding out hope for ymarks.  =]

Some feedback about SFV_Ninja: The F12 trick is something quickly you do specifically for @dcwul62? ...Because dont seems documented in any form and dont correspond to any menu in the UI.

You are correct.  I created a custom build just for dcwul62's request.

Besides once F12 is pressed there is not way to return to the original list.

Yep.  Again, just a quick mod for his needs.  I wasn't sure if the need extended to other users.

Another sugestion would be the posibility of copy/cut to the clipboard the files in the list (the files dont the filenames). That way would be possible copy in SF_Ninja list and paste in a new folder.

@dcwul62: Apologies for the delay.  Please give this a try:

  • Download, unpack, and run SFVNinja_Mod.exe
  • Load your folders/files.  You can drag-and-drop or use the toolbar buttons.
  • Click the "All" button in the toolbar.  Depending on number and size of the files, this might take a while.
  • Once SFV Ninja is done generating the checksums, press F12 to reduce the list to unique files.

Let me know if this works for you.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here as you can simply delete any text from a given entry and the entry will stay there (blank).  If you mean you want a blank line without an actual checkbox, that's not possible with the standard listview that sChecklist uses.

2) 3 checkbox options, blank, checkmark and filled. Could use filled checkbox as a section header.

Again, not possible with the standard listview.  The only options are checked or not checked.

I have used and loved this program for so many years and I encourage anyone reading this to DONATE .. we need to encourage J to write more creative programs like this and sWeather, sPlaylistMake, sLyrics, etc.

I don't think that site has an API to pull data from.  In any case, doing so would mean I'd have to make the sWeather window bigger to fit the sunrise/sunset data and I really do not want to do that.

Thank you for the heads up.  I've been sort of dreading this because there have been talks for a long while about moving to an API v2 (but, so far, they haven't).  The problem is that I really don't have time right now to convert epCheck once they actually decide to deprecate the v1 API.   :(
