If you are not yet on Win 7, you can also see if you can find a copy of the old and forgotten Dropbox Image Processor. (But I wouldn't dare to trust Brothersoft's "version 3.62" - everybody else is talking as if version 1.02 was the last version!) It was listed as a $15 program:

Sadly, it is not even on the company's homepage any more.

... I then have to open them in IrfanView and then click the various menu options to get the job done.

I almost only use IrfanView, to resize normal-resolution pictures, because it is done so fast: "Ctrl+R > Alt+1 > Enter > Ctrl+S > Enter" = resized to 1024 pixels, and saved.

If you still want it to be done via the right-click context menu, CFi ShellToys of course has a fast way to do it.

A dialog popped up essentially telling me that since the product was not registered, I can't register it.

I can remember that it was a little difficult to register Axialis Workshop, but not that difficult! I cannot remember in details what I did, when I registered, so please forgive me, April, if I am wrong, but I don't think you read the pop-up properly.

From http://www.axialis.c...er/registration.html :

If you've just installed an Axialis product, please use the built-in feature to register.

Done from within the program:

Found Deals and Discounts / Re: Babylon discount

-"they" will do nothing. Moby is a "community created content", so "someone" has altered Moby, to make it fit Babylon, but Babylon themselves will do nothing for a freeware dictionary...

Answers from Moby (inside Babylon) has this little text underneath the answer:

Source: Moby Thesaurus, which is part of the Moby Project created by Grady Ward. In 1996 Grady Ward placed this thesaurus in the public domain.

some may fail to notice "page 2" of your second link, like I did at first:

CoreIT

Security
Just say No to DDOS attacks - Page 2

There are plenty of resources out there with instructions on how to defend against a DDOS attack, rather than just outlasting them.

Ultimately a bot-net made up of thousands of machines will be able to outwork any router or firewall you put on the edge, if you don't make it smart enough not to be fooled by what amount to millions of prank phone calls.

The big risks are not the current ones, however.

Attacks on DNS networks and mobile networks -- both of which are often left unprotected by end-user companies that assume their service providers can take care of it -- are both extremely vulnerable, the report found.

There really are no ready made defences for that, at least on the mobile front, largely because security and management tools are not advanced enough to provide the kind of visibility in them that are taken for granted on wired networks, the report found.

Did this actually say that security staff in cell/mobile phone companies have no understanding of what security procedures/techs are needed?  :tellme:  :-\

You should know that one of the free dictionaries you can have for Babylon is Moby Thesaurus

Moby Thesaurus. This version has been thoroughly revised and contains 30,260 root words, with 2,520,264 synonyms and related terms.

Edited: Only now I realize this is the "Found Deals and Discounts"-thread, but this post is not really about any discounts...

It's just that when you are in love, no-one can tell or imply anything 'bad' about your loved one...

-my "love" for Babylon has been cooling down ever since version 5 or 6 - I just haven't found anything better (and I have several of the kind). One problem regarding Babylon is that they launch major upgrades just as often as Ashampoo!! This year is no exception: After 11 months with Babylon 8, Babylon version 9 is ready. And bloody expensive it is. Well, kind of; it's a Lifetime license, (or Monthly Subscription: $9.7). At least this will be the last upgrade needed, but man, the upgrade is $71 !! Bundled with the Oxford Dictionary + Thesaurus set it is "merely" $77 , which may be okay for a lifetime license, I guess. Normal full prices are $118 (or $128 incl Oxford). But as I said, it is a lifetime license, so in theory this should be the last upgrade needed...

A really weird answer, though. I don't have any Revo Pro installed, only the free version. And the only time I have tested the Pro version, I am certain it came from their own page, downloaded via Revo Free! So, the warning was wrong in every aspect.

I just realized (= imagined) that the promo link may be a link that should only exist from the inside of Revo Pro trial, so if a certain signal of a kind is not coming "together" with the link, it was not a genuine Revo Pro. Maybe.
