Hello everyone.
I am trying to use writer.
My problem is always the same.
As I am in trauma with windows xp pro I have five or six times installed that system on my pc.
When I enter in other partition then I have no Writer.
I have seen several alternatives to portable version, but I think the best way for me is share the configuration from a data disk ( i have seven hard disks and more partitions....)
Can I do this please ?

Miles. Open the home folder, but in my case with no letters under files or folders contained in the home folder.
I let resident to take into consideration any other thing I observ.

It's portable windows live writer version !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only see future problems in a bill gates portable version of anything because of the updates.

Really is it not an alternative to Micro ?

As I result of my software vice now I can't find the shortcuts to writer, because in start I can't find the new program group.
Anybody knows where is the installation directory ?
The program don't obey me and install somewhere.....

Don't be too harsh on yourself.

There is AutoScriptWriter included in AHK, you can try it without getting too intimate with the syntax.

Anyway, I am also looking for a solution to a problem similar to the one you described:

I would like to open my online banking page, and have it remain open. Bank IT staff being as always cautious for the most idiot in the pack, use JS to enforce some kind of timeout for the page. If only I had some way to automatically click on a link (i.e. check account balance) once every 5 minutes, I'd be able to overcome the timeout.

The fact is that I am not clever enough to write greasemonkey scripts  :)

Mmmm. That may be a hazardous and difficult question. My bank, by example, uses a special keyboard with changing position digits. And don't permit paste the password or the credentials.
For me, in that case, will be enough to arrive to the screen, fill by hand my data, and continue.

I am trying with iMacros, but I have several problems.

1. I have many gmail accounts. Sometimes I am logged with other account.
2. I would like even a script that continue with the actions when I finished to post. Returning to the system and closing the tab in firefox.
3. So I need a code snack, I suppose.
