I think is not so easy. I have tried in the past.

Even with youtube videos.
Acrobat DC don't seem to have the answer.

At the present moment I prefer the minimum effort with the maximum support and prior knowledge. I am againsta the google ruling answer.

I have a pdf with bookmarks.
I usually open with the bookmarks activated.

I would like :
Create one or more pages in the pdf with an index at the beginning or at the end of the pdf from the bookmarks indicating the page number in the index

Suppose i have three bookmarks :

Chapter 1
chapter 2
Chapter 3

Then I will have a new page in my pdf with the index

Index

Chapter 1 .........                       2
Chapter 2..........                     80
Chapter 3..........                     122

that is !
How can I automate this with a pdf editor ?

OneNote is complicated for me because I don't want to update and give me problems. If I try with office 2016 I may have problems.

I appreciate the concern. I run 2016 and 365 together on one machine, but fear that 2016 will stop being effective at some point. For now I switch between them depending on what I want to do. Can't say I like the direction of travel and I don't actively use either version now  - only work with some stuff already there that haven't exported yet.

Do you know if goes well under windows xp pro ?

That works more easily than I anticipated. Looks as if it ought to be possible to load multiple pages. I'll be interested to hear the results of all your experiments.

I have done. It works aproximately. You have to correct the transcription, but is a good help.

I am investigating deeply by myself.
Trying OneNote from Microsoft, GoogleDocs from Google.
 

Due lack of Information I cannot help since I dont know whats wrong.

The Help/Manual tells everything you need to know.

In the above link are steps explained for easy getting started.

If you do not like it, dont use it.

I just suggested it since to me it was easy to handle.

(I only used the TWAIN/Scan feature.)


And yes, results hard depend on your writing skills.

i don't see the option for recognize offline handwritten text.
When I try with a jpg or a pdf I obtain a list of inintelligible characters.

I will try now :

1. Google Docs - google
2. OneNote -- Microsoft.
3. PdfElement from Wondershare

I'm not convinced that FreeOCR will do handwriting. Most OCR programs don't. Of course, if the handwriting is regular enough they might work.

Most programs that will work are specifically set up to process handwriting as an input; OneNote for example. But they don't have a workflow that works well with a mass of handwritten documents. And many only work online (eg Pen to Print).

It seems as if it ought to be possible to have both capability and workflow, but I'm not sure it's been done yet. And maybe it's harder than it seems.

Seems a difficult and experimental subject. One of those matters improving for the next year....

Take a look at FreeOCR.

Uses tesseract engine that simplify additional languages, spanish is included by default if i remember right.

If you want to do this in realtime, Windows 10 already has this built in to their touch keyboard. You'd obviously want a touch screen or drawing tablet to make best use of it, because doing it with a mouse is not a very enjoyable experience.

But if you want OCR (optical character recognition) on a scanned sheet of notes or something, then it's probably best to use a note-taking app that has that built in.

only offline app. Recognizing the notes. Not in real time.
In real time have your interaction to decide and is more easy of course. But not for transcribing lots of handwriting to mechanical text....

Then comes the web app for whatsapp and I have my keyboard forgotten.
It was an expensive keyboard....

I have a logitech keyboard with three bluetooth signals I can attach to up three differents pc. So I can control two laptops and one desktop by example.

A good program for transcribe handwritten text to mechanical text in the pc
is well expressed ?
I would like a software to recognize my handwritten text or a modality of written text and convert to mechanical or typed text in the pc.

There is a software for this ?
I remember Dragon naturally speaking to transcribe speaking to text, or speech to text.
So this may be hand writing to mechanical text....

 

For spanish too please. ....

Note : only offline recognition.

That is when the handmade written text is presented in a sheet. We take a picture and process....
Recognise the handwritten  text.....
Convert the handwritten text in a sheet to mechanical text in the pc...

May I suggest Everything ?

I tested it on Word docx and doc and other files for content and it works brilliantly. You can configure it to just monitor particular folders if you wish, run as a service, etc. etc.
Command line supported as well.
I've used this in environments with massive (20 million)+ files and had great success too.

Have you tried to replace strings inside doc and docx files ?
Notepad++ and others also have the ability to search, but not to replace. Or if you replace you get a mess and a headache !!!!!

I am trying to determine if the supposed eml and pdf intercepted are because or not containing the string .doc in the description ....

I''ll make an experiment to see if process eml files or pdf files creating a folder with this type of files.
When need to depure something I observ microsoft word interaction goes to open the program directly and then I have the window of the program open.
