you don't have to post on this thread - basically just make sure you got the email from us saying you won, and that you reply to it saying yes you want your prize.

then you just wait a few days until you are sent the info about downloading/registering/activating, etc.

cats get annoyed at that stuff but it's really that kind of fed up annoyed that you get when your friend makes you do something - you are annoyed but you still are happy to be involved in a "project" - at least that's how i think about it :)

ok i just installed this and its quite wonderful.

here's a tip for new users:
jgpaiva says: "back button"+"right-click button" at the same time
i found that this works perfect for me if i press both and hold for a second; if i try to quickly do it like i did at first it results in right click effects.  so just hold the two together for a second and its very natural and perfect.

really very nice.

if you don't have a volume control knob on your keyboard but you do have a scroll wheel on your mouse, and you listen to a lot of music, you NEED this program.

we need to make this a proper coding snack on coding snacks page as i predict some people will really want this.  i love the tooltip hints when its in operations, really great.

question:
i doubt this is possible, but thought i might request it if so:
would it be possible to have multimediate mouse mode temporarily active when i hold the ctrl+alt keys (or shift+ctrl keys, etc.) - i just thing for somethings like volume adjustment it would be nice not to have to toggle in and out of the mousemode but just hold that key combo down while wanting to engage it.

in fact we have a very strict policy that we accept NO commissions or affiliate payments or any kinds of compensations, unlike many websites.

the only thing we try to do is get dicounts for our members on software that is wanted here.

everyone on this forum has different favorite programs, and we encourage everyone to talk about their favorites.

we also try to be a friendly place where authors can come to chat a little.  not advertise their software but talk about it with people here who like it. and there are quite a few freeware and shareware authors who talk here.  the only thing we do ask is that if you are somehow connected to a company you need to say it clearly when you post.

in short, we have tried to make this forum a welcome place for people to talk about their favorite programs, and a place with authors of good programs can reach their users.  we always try to find freeware alternatives to every program, both in our reviews and in our posts.


i want to repeat - it is our strict and unbending policy that this site shall have no arrangement with any company which would have us benefiting from the sales of their program, or even the appearance of benefits from the sale of their program.  period.

yes, though not the best; but it does have one of the very best customizable regular expression filtering engine so you can auto sort and filter stuff to your hearts delight.

basically it lets you create virtual servers and *run them at the same time* (is that right?), so basically you can have a set of isolated independent servers, each protected from harming one another, and you run your system on a virtual server, which makes it easier to do certain things (like backups, experiments,etc.).

yes definitely - i'm not trying to say that small businesses are motivated purely by money at all.
the analysis above is just meant to say why ignoring users may become a "good business decision" for big companies who are concerned just with maximizing profits.

personally i think we need to stop this obsession with maximizing profits.  the goal of life is not to maximize profits. somehow we seem to have entered an age of hyper capitalism where everyone seems to just take it for granted that the goal of life is to maximize profits.  why can't the goal be to make reasonable profits?
