let me just throw out the idea of reducing to 3 people on the globe and then cody as the last creature.
and then removing him from far right.  just an idea.

one other advantage of nudone's balloon speaking logo banner is that we can pop in new symbols in the balloons on special occasions.

the ($) does decrease the standout of the $ especially if he is not set aside, so maybe we should go back to 4 bubble people all equally spaced if the heart doesn't work?  4 peeps is easier on the eyes then 5.

carol has a good point - with the price of printers you might definitely think about upgrading if you have a cheap printer.  i LOVE the driver on my canon pixma as well..

i dont want to make a user-selectable theme - it's too much trouble to maintain different themes.

but i am willing to customize the style sheet colors to match the banner if needed.

as for rotating.. i'm not opposed to it, and there is some fun in it... but there is also value in having a single recognizable memorable logo.

i wonder if it might be possible to make the bottom left inset thing where page title is shown, into a fully "bordered" cutout (like rounded renctangle or elipse), instead of it cutting of the entire bottom left. does that make sense? i mean like still show a tiny amount of the left and bottom border of the banner like th right and top sides show? would that look good?

remind me: do you have a special tray utility or multiple desktop utility?
if you uncheck the "start minimized" option, does it start normally and then let you minimize it to the tray manually?

The huge plus to my way of thinking is that everything you do in this app is completely non-destructive - it doesn't touch your original files at all. All editing and correcting that you do is stored as scripts within the database and only applied as you output a fresh copy to load in Photoshop. This all happens transparently so it means you can edit and change a photo and save copies of it without ever altering the original in any way at all (whilst still retaining all the processing you have worked out).

ah well that is a great idea. and i have to admit i know nothing about these image programs and raw files, so ignore me
