Thanks erwind - it's all there now. I'm getting a 404 code when I try to download, but I'll try again later.

OK - this doesn't bode well for that PhD defense... I can't find the download link on the page that I am directed to: http://www.high-logic.com/download.html  :tellme:

I experience this occasionally as well, iphigenie so would be interested in reading about the results of your investigation!

Thanks erwind  I just put in an order and am looking forward to generating fonts based on my handwriting (might submit my dissertation in this font - might as well give myself an edge, eh? If my examiners can't actually read what I've written it should be an easier defence, no?).

Head over to the Dopus Resource Centre if you want a "real" solution!

Living Room / Re: Would anyone want a free DonationCoder.com bumper sticker?
« Last post by Darwin on February 13, 2008, 09:46 PM »
Magnetic bumper stickers won't help with the majority of cars built in the last... I dunno, 20 years or so, anyway, because they have colour matched plastic body panels covering the bumpers.

You're right, Jesse. The focus should be on fun and if the bumper sticker is unique/stands out enough, people will stop to read it in a parking lot anyway.

The "giveaway" (pun intended) for me is the first sentence from the screenshot:

You need software, but don't want to pay high retail price's.

That kind of grammatical error is a red flag, in my opinion. Nice detective work, scancode

Good point, Chris! I second that idea. Actually, it occurred to me when I was looking at the mock-up that the most important thing is the web address. It should be as big as possible to ensure that people see it and remember it so that they can navigate here... and include the "www" to seal the deal, even though aesthetically it is not as pleasing.

I wouldn't go for a bumper sticker (because they're such a PIA to remove!) but how about those (electro-static?) stickers that University alumni put in their rear windows instead? Of course, for all I know these are much more expensive...?

I'd put something like that in my window and drive around displaying it with pride!

That was on topic, Armando. Particularly if the imaging software was purchased on impulse! Better yet, the Vista machine that you image was purchased capriciously. Now you're talkin'

This whole thing has been nothing short of a religious experience for me. (see attachment in previous post)

I thought you had to be dead to be beatified

I resolved the iPod issue... by assiduously avoiding the purchase of an iPod! I bought first a Samsung K3 and then a T9 (K3 was stolen 3 months after purchase)  :P (An aside - if anyone buys a Samsung mp3 player, stay away from the bundled music organizer. It installs a really annoying, and AFAICT impossible to remove, DRM service).

I'll wait for the final release of Helium MM 2008 to "go live" as I've never tried it and I've already got a number of media players on the go!  At the moment, I'm pretty happy with WinAmp 5.5 but also have MusicIP Mixer Pro, GOMPlayer, and WMP 11 installed. On the strictly player side I have XMPlay installed as well and on the strictly organizing and tagging side I have mp3 Collector (by collectorz.com)...

A beta for Helium MM 2008 was released on Feb. 11 - have you tried it, Beth? Just curious - I'd never even heard of HMM until you posted and followed your link!

Sadly, Lashiec, I believe that such a song would wind up being C&W. C&W is an acquired taste. I haven't (really) acquired it yet.

What I'm more interested in are the 12 steps from SW addiction!

Let's try this. Every time you purchase a piece of software, you also have to buy me a copy and ship it to me. This way, at least I get something out of the deal.  :P

That would be more like one step to penury...  :o

Bath - this board is for issues relating to entering licences for Donationcoder software. It is not setup to encourage or facilitate the sharing of hacks, cracks, or serialz for shareware.

Heck. The Canadian $ is worth more! (Depending on the day...) But still! The CAN vs. the USD? Huh?

The last 30 years were a blip - the Canadian dollar has tended to trade in the 90 cent to parity range over the past 140 years. In 1865 it was worth something like $2.30! US Civil War was the reason... I think the Canadian dollar has been undervalued for the last 30 years and the US dollar overvalued over the same period. But what do I know...  :o

PaladinMJ, as far as I can tell, the big problem is
The request... to find a calendar (IMO, a task manager that somehow collaborates with a calendar would be better) that can repeat a task/event after one day, one week and one month, one time each.
All calendars I know of only allow a repeat pattern of either daily or weekly or monthly, not a mix of those patterns.

Can Rainlendar do this?
