Yes, that's the MD5 checksum.

Cool, thanks for checking.

I checked again on that PC, and your files (both of them) show up a total of ten times on the Webroot 'quarantine' for my laptop. I've notified Webroot that they're throwing a false positive, even when I have it turned off (?).

I guess we can chalk it up to Webroot interfering with things.  However, I can guarantee it's a false positive.

Meanwhile, I loaded Files2Folder to my Win 7 64-bit, (run w/ Admin permissions) and it works great there. So I'm going to move all the photos there and do the work on that PC.

If I may ask, how are you choosing which photos to move?  If it's something in the filename that can be matched on, perhaps my File Punter app might be of use?

Thanks for the fast attention.
I'll drop something in the bucket.

You're welcome and thanks.  =]

Can you do something starting from Bestimate by Skwire?
-cranioscopical (April 20, 2012, 09:53 AM)

I doubt it since that app doesn't do any sort of timelining.

Hi, Kzoom, and welcome to the DonationCoder site.  I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles with this app.

So, based on your above post, you have downloaded and attempted to unpack this zip file, right?

http://skwire.dcmembers.com/apps/files_2_folder/Unreg_F2F.zip

If so, it's possible your download was corrupted in some way.  I just downloaded it to make sure it wasn't corrupted server side.  All checked out and it was able to unregister the shell extension here on my computer.  If you're familiar with MD5 checksums, the checksum of that zip file is 37A982755D8385708DD80B4BBED5DCB7.  Can you verify it's not a corrupt download?

@c.gingerich: Very nice!  Thanks for jumping in.

@garbanzo: Are you good with this or did you still require a commandline app that could read a CSV file and spit out your shortcuts?  If not, I'll mark this thread as done and move it to the finished section.

Do you have these different names and arguments in a text file?  If so, it would be easier to simply make a script that reads that in and creates all your shortcuts in one pass without a GUI.  Thoughts?

We should not forget AdMuncher which has worked for me extremely smoothly and effectively.

Agreed.  I'm a huge fan and user of AdMuncher (six years now).

Unless I'm completely mistaken, these types of files are almost certainly proprietary (to the software) binary files and, thus, are going to be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to merge together.

Welcome to the site, firace, and thanks for the bug report.  The application is closed source; the icons are part of the Fugue icon set.  The latest version of sCheckbook should address both bugs.  Thanks, again!

wow. that is great. I think you are finished with this gem, it is perfect. The status bar holding the most current clip is a great addition. Thank you much.

You're welcome.  Glad you've found it useful.

Seems to work here in a Windows XP VM.  TaoPhoenix, is your middle mouse button set to send the default middle button message?  As in, you don't have your middle mouse button set to something custom in your mouse software, do you?

Give this a try.  I think I got all of your requests in there:

Website | Download
v1.1.0 - 2012-04-15
+ Added ability to append new clips to the top of the stack.  Use the
dropdown list in the toolbar to switch between the top and bottom
      options.  (Thanks, jltarley)
+ Added "Scroll to top" & "Scroll to bottom" toolbar buttons to more
easily navigate the edit field.  (Thanks, jltarley)
+ Added ability to configure a timestamp string as part of the clip
delimiter.  This uses the standard AutoHotkey timestamp tokens as
      found on the following webpage:
      http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/FormatTime.htm
In addition to actually configuring the timestamp string, you must
enable this option by checking the "Enable timestamp tokens"
      checkbox.  (Thanks, jltarley)
+ Statusbar now shows the contents currently on the clipboard.

So, for the delimiter string, you could now have something like: \r\n\r\n[yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss]\r\n\r\n

This would create output like this:

[2012-04-15 09:17:19]

Clip 1

[2012-04-15 09:17:26]

Clip 2

[2012-04-15 09:17:31]

Clip 3

The opportunity to put a simple time-stamp in my delimiter line would be awesome.

Great idea.  I'll add this.

The option to show the aggregated text either top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top, meaning most recent clips either being at the top or at the bottom.

Unfortunately, ClipTrap was not designed for this.  In other words, ClipTrap doesn't have any concept of separate clips.  It just takes what test was there before and adds the currently copied item to the end.  That being said, it could just as easily add that to the top instead of the bottom.  However, that wouldn't be something that would be sortable AFTER a piece of text is copied.  It would go something like this:

Current operation:

Clip 1
Clip 2
Clip 3
Clip 4

With "Add to top" setting in place:

Clip 4
Clip 3
Clip 2
Clip 1

If you changed to the new setting after, say, Clip 2:

Clip 4
Clip 3
Clip 1
Clip 2

Does that make sense?  Again, I never designed ClipTrap with the concept of separate clips.  It was designed to accomplish a certain purpose in regards to my last workplace.  As current, it fits a niche in between using a full-fledged clipboard manager and using nothing at all.  FWIW, have you ever tried NirSoft's Clipboardic application?  It may be more suited to what you're after:

That's incorrect... http://am-production...php?pcode=TrayModule

Aye, nice.  Thanks for the update.
2496
Sorry, doesn't look like I am able to do that. I can hook the tray and move it once, then my system get's unstable.  :( Sorry about that. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

Doubtful.  As MilesAhead mentioned, working with the tray is extremely touchy.  Basically, to do it right, you have to load BEFORE any icons get populated into the tray in order to capture them all.  Some icons do periodic refreshing and, thus, will populate even if you hook after they've been created.  Now, after all this, it's still touch and go to get the icon handling right.

bob99, one thing you might consider is an old utility by AM Productions called Tray Module.  I used to use it for various things back in the day.  The site is no longer, but you can still get the utility via the Wayback Machine here:

http://web.archive.o...php?pcode=TrayModule

It's a tiny, portable app that will give you a free-floating systray.  Now, as I mentioned before, to capture tray icons properly, you should try to get this loaded as soon as you can on system startup.  You could try using a simple shortcut in your Startup group and see what icons it captures after a reboot.  Maybe it will capture the ones you'd like to deal with.  Worth a try, anyway.  =]

Also, there are a few other really neat utilities on that site...

Welcome to the site, lanes1.  Yes, there is a Unicode build but my build and upload script was borked.  I've fixed it and the download zip should now contain both versions.  Apologies for that.
