Win7 Pro using the post-capture pop-up dialog

Captured 'Active Window' (SC's main window) via QuickCaptureBar.
Using 'To Clipboard:Image', then pasting into my Word Processor. see shot
There is a black border, using 'To Clipboard:Image',
but if I click 'Save Image and Show'-no black border.

Be sure to save the config file for each browser.
It may take a couple of times to test it.
After setting a browser to default close and restart BrowserTraySwitch to pick up the new default browser. Then you can switch them from the tray.

If you set IE (or most any browser) to default it will add IE into the list.
Then you can switch browsers from the tray.

a GAOTD tip,
Download the gaotd.
If the registration number is in the read me file.
Download the program from the program's site.
As in this case- http://www.winpdfeditor.com/index.html
Using the gaotd's read me registration number will activate the program
Bypassing gaotd's installer.

I've done it this way for all that I'm interested in from gaotd.

In general, I prefer the LED type with the Maglites.
Dependable and long lasting, if you get the ones that use D batteries.
For me, D batteries have always lasted much longer then any other size.
The crank type flashlight is good to have as a backup.

I used to run registry cleaners, not anymore, too many blue screens.
Plus there is no way to know if or when the registry was corrupted.
I can't boot into a registry restore program, no way I know of anyway.

When I need to, I'll run Ccleaner to find something specific.

Why isn't an announcement in either "Official Announcements"
or at least "DC Member Programs and Projects".
SC 4.0 certainly deserves the attention, it's a big upgrade and sets the standard higher for other screenshot capture software.

I was thinking 'fixed size region' ctrl+alt+prtscr.
Without a delay, it will start where the mouse pointer is.
And it will not kill the drop down menu when the focus changes to the cross-hairs.
My fixed size region is set to 640x480.
Under advanced tweaking-My Favorites.

that happened to me a on a couple of betas
but not recently

after the initial setup screen
clicking next should kill SC from running

edit- but no "stops responding"
i was able to exit SC from the tray icon
