it can't currently be done.. deleting could be added easily.. moving is harder. of course you can always ask me to move a post from personal area to another forum section (one drawback is that the date is set to the original date when the post was first made in the personal area section).

cool, thanks for posting that ewe.
as per our previous discussions -- am i right that the main thing that causes you some trouble is that dcupdater seems to always want to install stuff into one FARR and not the other, even if launched from the other? or am i wrong about that?

there is an easy way to do what you want, dc member Joto did this earlier and meant to post it but didn't.
basically you make an alias in the options which matches numerical expressions, and has the result: dosearch fc $$1
the tricky part is defining the regular expression and i'm afraid my regex skills are a bit rusty.
maybe someone can figure out a good regex for it and post.
ps. dc member czb has recently written a more powerful calculator plugin for farr which uses javascript; one real nice thing about it is you can add custom functions really easily. i think he'll be posting it very soon.

i would LOVE to see some proper screensaver creations made by dc coders. (by proper i mean a screensaver that obeys the standard screensaver options and api).

good idea -- there are quite a few screensavers which work by modifying the current screen rather than replacing it -- would be interesting to build a list of them, especially the ones that would be least disruptive of the screen contents so that you could actually come look at it at any time and still be able to read it.

I got a panasonic electric shaver a while ago which is the first electric shaver i ever liked. I have not turned back since. Really surprised me! I love it. This isn't the exact model, this one is a little nicer:
I definitely recommend it if you have the cash -- a very luxurious gift for someone, though it must be said that electric shavers seem to be one of those things that some people like and others don't, so it's a risky gift to get someone. [i never liked them until this one].

krunthip23 and skas -- this is very important for me to understand -- are you saying that the new versions dont AUTODETECT your adapter, BUT they do show it in the list of adapters if you go into advanced mode? (if so then just disable autodetect and select manually).
OR are you saying that in the new version of url snooper, the proper network adapter is not even LISTED in the advanced view dropdown box and so you can't even select it manually?

nice, i can see where this might be useful. would be nice to have an option (set by default) to show a confirmation messagebox each time it finds a file it is about to replace, so user can verify and click OK/SKIP/CANCEL.
