this is really strange..
i can't tell from the screenshots.. is the oversized menu a listing of files in a disk directory -- or is it showing child nodes configured in the LBC tree.

if the lattter, can you send me your .mcf file and i can try to reproduce and fix it. ([email protected])

i think this is a great idea.. actually i was talking to someone else about the possibility of having badges for different programming languages that would indicate someone was willing to help others with that programming problems related to that language.

so this idea of yours would be a useful complement to that idea -- badges showing someone has provided (or is willing to provide) general help or help on certain programs or kinds of programs.

nope -- the email address and name on the license key is purely display info, not used in any other way.

same as always -- click the link in the license key email and the credits are put into your forum account, where you can give them out on the forum or to the site account as you see fit.

• Added new "Move To" menu item which will create a folder based on current date and move all screenshots into it; useful for quick organizing of screenshot folder.
• Added new "Move To" menu for moving only old files and sorting into subfolders based on date of screenshot; userful for cleaning up a big directory of screenshots.
• Added sort by -> name option in View menu.
• Post-capture popup dialog SaveAs now defaults to template filename and configured file type/extension.
• Added new interlace special effects, including one meant for security purposes that will blur and then interlace.
• [BugFix] Discard changes wasn't reloading the original file.
• [BugFix] Thumbnail option to not change to new thumbnail was not being obeyed.
• [BugFix] SC would sometimes select the entire screenshot contents when capturing a region inside the active window.
• [BugFix] The option chosen on SaveOverwrite popup was not being saved if triggered while exiting.

one thing i noticed that trips people up is that the page to generate free keys has a different link for each program.. make sure you are generating the right key for the program you are trying to put it into.

i need to understand a little bit more about what you want to do.

IF what you want to do is type something like:
cardboardtest WHATEVERIWANT

and have it launch
C:\Command\Shell\AutoHotkey\Scripts\wintest.ahk %LASTHWND% "WHATEVERIWANT"

then what you want is just to define an alias and specify the regular expression
^cardboardtest (.*)$

that will capture the $$1 as you intend.


however if what you want is to let user search for a file the normal way, and use that found file as the $$1 then it's a little bit more complicated and you are on the right path.  i think the problem is you dont put the + in your alias name when you define the alias. just use test or cardboardtest whatever.

the + is the way the user tells FARR when they are typing that they want to use the alias to launch the result.

Hi cardboard:

%LASTHWND% - integer value referring to the last window handle that had focus before FARR was triggered.

FARR actually uses such information when doing it's pasting functions, so that it can paste into the program that had focus when it was triggered.

Happy to answer more questions if you have an idea you are trying to implement.
