new request:
when you exit trout and then restart it, it would be nice if it remembered the last selected/playing song.

Yeah i improved the icon drawing a bit.. I noticed a flickering with hidden/sliding docking bars and i think i've fixed it in a not-yet-uploaded version, so that will be fixed soon.

i'm, sure you've thought of this carol but one worry is what happens if different files with same name are located in different subdirectories.

-resizeyp PERCENTAGE

-resizex WIDTH
resize x dimension to exactly WIDTH pixels (y will be scaled to preserve ratio if no y resize value specified)

-resizey HEIGHT

MiniCap is related to Screenshot Captor but it helps to remember they are separate programs, otherwise you confuse me!

I will add commandline resizing options to MiniCap.

It's a false alarm.  There is no real virus in DrWindows.

The name given is a clue that this is one of those bullshit detections that antivirus companies give when they are lazy. (SHeur2.UPA -- with the "heur" meaning heuristic, aka guess).  Never trust heuristic scanning stuff.

Here's another thread on DC about these false alarm type things:
https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=12614.0

I'm trying not to get too upset by this ridiculous behavior by antivirus companies since it's totally out of my control and because they have mostly proven their irresponsibility and that they don't care about scaring people with false positive.

Scanning DrWindows.exe on VirusTotal for a more reliable reporpt shows that it is clean:

ok great post, let me see if i'm actually doing this full $$1 replacement inside custom file explorer.. it's a relative new addition and it's possible it's not being obeyed in the file explorer.

ah.. are you using the MiniCap commandline tool?

I could add resizing commandline options to that if people think it would be useful.

well certainly you can resize the image from within screenshot captor (hit ctrl+G or choose Resize from the Edit menu), but it sounds like you might benefit more by finding a 3rd party commandline resizer tool and then configuring it from the screenshot captor Tool menu,

can you elaborate a bit more about what you want to do?

Hi Coniferous,

To answer your question, if you wanted to donate to scancode, just donate to the site then send him some credits.  You can start the whole process rolling in fact just by clicking on the gold coin under his name and following directions from there.

In a bit more detail:

You can read more about donationcredits here: https://www.donation...m/Donate/Credits.php

But the basic idea is simple: First you donate to the site.

Then you will receive an email with a link to click to put the credits in your forum account.
Than you can send some or all of your credits to particular people on the forum by clicking the gold coin under their name and then specifying how much to send them.

i think your original line was a mistake.  you should have used (and this still works for me):
showfilehtml C:\_common\test\index.htm

can you try that and see if it works?

FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: FARR Plugin: TimeZone
« Last post by mouser on March 12, 2009, 07:00 AM »
You'll need a connection to grab the data initially, but after that it's just when the time changes.
um.. when doesnt time change?

dont you need to just grab the data to get the timezone offsets and thereafter can just use local time on the pc and offset to compute values?

Is it just me or can we not remove a song from the playlist with delete key? That would be a nice feature to add.
20296
You should be able to do this using the "Advanced Custom Workspace Tiling" option, on the "Monitor Options" tab..
Might take you a little bit to figure out how to get the settings right, but give it a try.
20297
new version is now up that let's you set max images to 0 which will disable all image display.
20298
New version up:

v1.29.01 - March 11, 2009
  • [Feature] Added max. image count option to Image Cell tab -- let's you turn off images completely (and just show quotes/clock) limit the # of images shown.
  • [BugFix] Sped up loading of quote books (significantly if you have lots of disabled books).
  • [Feature] Added option to choose whether the goal of the crop mode should be to shrink minimally to fit the shorter edge (leaving part of image offscreen), or fit entire image on screen.
  • [BugFix] Some computers had fonts with large linespacings which could cause mpq to oversize characters resulting in cut-off text. New code takes line spacing into account [thanks ewemoa!]
20299
Latest version uploaded:

v1.06.01 - March 11, 2009
  • [BugFix] Time was being wasted loading excessive quote info from disabled quote files.
  • [Feature] Added support for wikiquote screensaver data files and better parsing of quote files.
  • [BugFix] Program was crashing on badly formatted quote files.
  • [Feature] Added support for configdir.ini portable/custom config directory file configdir.ini (should also improve functioning on Vista).
  • [BugFix] TaskBar icon could be shown on repeated triggering of new quotes before minimizing.
  • [MinorFeature] New option to not steal focus when popping up.
  • [MinorFeature] Fortune files with %% separators were not being parsed properly.
  • [MinorFeature] Fortune files without a first-line PopupWisdom description special line were causing an access violation fault.

you're quiet right -- i didn't realize you couldn't turn off images -- i will add it this week.
