Brushing teeth with the wrong hand is actually very challenging if you havent done it before!
Have to agree with that. When I decided to try for cross-dominance I created a new meaning for the toothbrush moustache.

Thanks Ath — that reference is useful.
Thanks Stoic Joker — good idea about moving rather than deleting, I usually do.
Thanks 40hz — this junk remains after using the latest version of Revo.

Can somebody help me with this, please?

I installed Soluto to take a look at it.
I don't want it and so uninstalled it and now have remaining the following items.
Can I delete this stuff without unpleasant consequences?

Just to understand better, do you have a knowledgebase open when you try that operation?
-cranioscopical (January 02, 2011, 10:30 AM)

do you need to have a file open in order to clip from the web? (just checking - it's not clear to me from the responses)

Yes, you do. It won't work for me without an open file.
I can clip from the page that Curt cites with no trouble at all…

02-01-2011 4-39-57 PM.jpg

I just clipped this bit of text at random from the page and this is a screen grab of the result.

As a start, the thing to do would be File/open/MyKnowledge.Surfulater (assuming that exists… it's the default, I think)
or
File/New/[any name you want]

Hope that helps

Have you created one of your own?

As cyberdiva says, I've never seen that myself

Am I the only one to be sadly surprised that it doesn't close on Escape?

Quite possibly  ;)
Personally, I'd hate it to close on escape.

Hey! 1.0.1 is out!

After listening patiently to a couple of trifling issues of mine and then being so accomodating as to eliminate them, worstje has released version 1.0.1 of JottiQ.

Watch the first post in this topic for its appearance.

Curt,

I'm happy with Surfulater.
It's not updated with trifles at frequent intervals, rather at longer periods with thoughtful changes.
3.4 suits me just fine.
As somebody mentioned above, Neville, the developer, is responsive and helpful.

So the technology exists (?) to register which monitor the user is looking at.

I won't be getting around to making a new release anymore, at least not for as far NANY 2011 deadlines are concerned. I intend to work on it in 2011 though
It's pretty neat already! I'll be interested in what 2011 brings.

I've never been involved with anything that I billed out a $100 million either!
Heck no! Nor have I, that was scraped up over a 40-year period.  :-[

Note: until you have a signed purchase order or letter of intent in hand, you don't have the assignment.
In >40 years in one of my businesses I always worked on a handshake (not literally, typically a phone call). With projects worth a fairly significant amount, I was stiffed only twice.
