Few things upset me as much as when i misplace something and can't find it.. Even more so when i do it repeatedly and know that i should have taken more care to keep track of it. I really get mad at myself.

something must be causing it to crash when you type that.. but i'm not sure what.. see if you can pinpoint what it is searching when it gets to that point.

I wonder if any windows system coder pro can figure out how to make a commandline tool that can invoke a specific context menu extension trigger on a given file.. that would make any of these tools callable through the tool menu without right clicking (and without actually installing the system context menu dll?)

One of the important features of Screenshot Captor is that the thumbnail strip panel is fully compatible with the windows file explorer.

What that means is that you can right-click on an image and access the normal windows file context menu.

So if you want to be able to easily send images to ImageShack or similar services, the answer is to install a right-click context menu handler for these services and then use that from Screenshot Captor:

nice.
if you wanted to skip the autohotkey helper what you could do is configure a custom hotkey in farr that opened farr up and automatically started with the text "+patients" in the search box.
the advantage of that would be that it would be searching as you typed the patients name so you wouldn't have to type the full thing.

The FARR addnote command will add text lines to a text file; not the most featureful thing but it does work.
I'd love to see someone write a more advanced notetaking/searching plugin to farr.

we all have same display, it's just that i somehow remembered that the unread count was on same line as total messages count. i knew that what you were asking for was already shown, just misremembered exactly in what form.

ok so to do that just add the same keyword modifier to both of those search folder entries and use that to restrict search to those folders.

for example, for both of those search folder entries specify keyword modifier: patients

now to search those two folders (and only those two folders) specify your search like
+patients SEARCH STRING HERE

Ok i remember now.. the Unread message count (if there are any) *is* shown up top, but it's above, on the very top where it says Greetings USERNAME.
Check it out next time you have a new message. It's useful up there because it stays visible even if you have that top area collapsed.

Tim has been doing a really interesting experiment, taking over the drawing from Nudone (who has restarted up Codex Transportica by the way). The new cartoon drawings have a real charm, and today's strip has to be my favorite so far.

Is there a simple way to specify only to search a certain folder and one of its subfolders?

the way to do this would be to:
1. Add the main folder to the Search Folder list, and specify Subdirectory Search Depth = 0 (which prevents farr from searching subdirectories)
*and*
2. Add the one subfolder you also want searched to the list and also specify Subdirectory Search Depth = 0 (which prevents farr from searching that folders subdirectories)
