Thanks, that's one to keep in mind. The second image looks quite detailed.

What's the difference between the bottom end of the price range and the top end?

Mind saying which version you used to plan your layouts, and for how big a space that was?

A positive review like this can save a great deal of time when it comes from someone who's done the looking and whose judgement can be trusted.

Here's the Windows XP startup sound at 10x with a window size of 3.125:

Finally, something on Windows that moves at my pace!

I appreciate your enthusiam to hunt bugs as an entertaining hobby but right now I have things to do and no time for fiddling.
It's always interesting to hear a new voice, one can learn a lot. I like to think that you'll find something that is appropriate.

Do you (does anyone) plan to create a DonationCoder card game?

Open up your eyes.

 :-[

Actually, my eyes are open but I have to keep looking away in order to boost the thermometer.

Interesting!

I'm going to see if I can generate a couple more aces to keep up my sleeve.

mouser

I do understand the points that you make. Unsure how I feel about them.

I do feel that there's quite a strong immediate disconnect between DonationCoder and $100 price.

How does all of this help with those who simply want to hang out rather than grab software?

users who want such a graphics utility for compression would also be well served to check out RIOT.

Thanks for posting that here.
It's good to bring up alternatives — makes the topic more useful for people looking for the 'right' software for them.

Well, the mark is set, so somebody can start singing...

Try the latest download; note i havent told the updater about it so youll have to download manually or instruct updater to download even though it thinks it's not new.

That's some service!

Drat, I wish I'd thought of that

I think I'll adopt that as my motto.

It came from my wife's Machine embroidery forum

You're sure the method was embroidery?
Cody's surprise inspection caught this shot...

There are two types of lawyer.  Those who appeal and those who do not.

can it batch process files of varying formats (in one go)?

Didn't seem to like doing that. Seemed okay with a mix of .png and .jpg which seems to me to be an unlikely combination of candidates for reduction.
Thank you for raising the issue!
Now you can see why I seldom venture into the land of review  :-[

That's a nice min-review.

I mis only 1 paragraph, and that's a comparison section, that holds this solution against similar offerings, like a web-based Lorem ipsum generator, ie. what makes this off-line tool one stand out?

Mea culpa  :-[

For me the fact that it is off-line makes it the better choice.
I'm looking at it through my rather blinkered vision as one who has a notable absence of reliable internet access.

Tomos has helped out, fortunately, by pointing out http://www.lipsum.com/.
What he cites there may also help you to understand my shortcomings.
Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s
Whereas I have been the industry's standard dummy for a much shorter time.

Nice work with that one, timns!

   Oh yes, that reminds me...
How long did it take you to ensure that every single one of my passwords was going to be profoundly vulgar?

You could offer this advice: if you want to lose 10lbs of ugly fat, cut off your head!

Ugh! And talking about crowded and smelly - when I was in London, it was either take the Northern Line or walk 30 minutes to get to the client. In eight years, I used it maybe 3 or 4 times, and even that was too much.

OTOH I had my London office on the street between Regent Street and Carnaby Street. Even today I shudder to remember what I used to pay for daily parking >30 years ago.

No offence but frankly, if it caused 50% of the cars currently on the UK roads to not be on the road, that would be a Good Thing.

50% of the cars currently on UK roads are parked along either side of those roads. Can't take 'em for a spin as it'd take most of a day to find another parking spot within a cab-fare of home!  ;D

you just Khan't resist can you?

Another killer response!
