The way mouser and I know these apps are ready is when the authors change "Pledge" and/or "Early Beta" in the OP title to include the word Release.

josant, looks from your official page like this is a pretty well-developed project. Is it okay to for me to update the title of this thread to contain the word Release?. Basically everyone who has pledged but not yet Released needs to officially release their app, so we can sceencast it and do a writeup.

v1.0.3.8 is released.

Okay, a couple of feature requests have been fulfilled. Introducing Tagging Selection Mode toggling. Also, the "Did You Know?" tips dialog now features a Rewind and Fast-Forward button in addition to Previous and Next. A few other nice touches. The help file has been updated (press F1 to view).

Heh, there's a funny story behind that. My last name is Miller. So the people who had the litter started calling her Miller while they took care of her until she was old enough to be separated from the mother. My wife shortened their name for the pet from "Miller" to "Millie". Pretty cute, eh?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The time has come for me to gently but insistently start prodding you to establish a Release version of your program. In other words, the version that you intend to submit as your official NANY 2012 application. Please change the title of your thread to "NANY 2012 Final Release: Your App Name Goes Here" so that mouser and I can correctly identify it for the writeup and screencast.  We're still looking for help with making screencasts. Mouser and I can each make some, but it sure would be nice to have 3 or 4 people working on it.

The original arbitrary goal I set was 50 pledges. No reason it shouldn't instead have been 40, or 60. So we're gonna come pretty close to that original number. Although, of course, the important thing is the releases themselves, and not how many there are. Still, I echo your comment, cranio

I've got a buddy coming over sometime in the next few days. He has Camtasia and said he'll give a shot at doing casts for my four entries. Dunno if I can convince him to do others  

Any particular settings he needs to know about in regards to how to set up the videos? He says it can pre-format to fit YouTube?

v1.0.3.4 is an important update for anyone who intends to make serious use of the program, as all Search functionality is now handled on a background thread that will not tie up the UI and make it become unresponsive. Because the files being searched are relatively small, the delay while searching a handful of files is only on the order of milliseconds, but for anyone who uses the program long-term and accumulates hundreds of files, the UI would begin to show unresponsiveness without the changes I've made. Now, you could continue to read an article or enter data into a new file while a Search is running in the background, and a messageBox will alert you when the Search completes.

Also, I eliminated a bug in the Search code.
