they should give the badge to scouts who can successfully simulate and reproduce video games in the wild using only twigs and rocks.  such scouts are providing a service to their fellow brethren whose batteries run out while on long camping trips.

the upper corners are rounded in the new SC one, just not the lower ones.. but that's because of the theme change issue tht f0dder points out.

anyway, the new method should solve it stay tuned.

i find some satisfying irony in this story of so-called "journalists" who are literally losing their minds with orgasmic anticipation and apoplexy, and willing to shell out thousands, just to have the possibility of getting a sneak peek at some new apple-product-in-production, and then being treated so poorly by the very company they are so damn obsessed with.

perhaps they would be better served by calming down a bit about the next un-released apple product, and just wait till the damn thing comes out.  hey guys -- these devices aren't filled with magic beans and they don't unlock the secrets of the universe.

although the problem is seen with klipkeeper, the problem isn't actually in klipkeeper, it's in the other (fscript) plugin.
for fix see https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=18622.0

bingo.
i dont know if its klipkeeper per se, but there is a known conflict with klipkeeper and other fscript plugins with older dlls.
16482
i dont have windows search installed so its hard for me to test.
but if you install the non-beta (just install over beta), you dont get the error?

or let me ask differently, are you 100% sure you didn't change anything else (or install any other plugins) that could be responsible for the new error?
16483
idont think that can be the new farr beta doing that.  i'd love to have real confirmation that using the older farr exe gives dif result.  it sounds like a dif conflict with the plugin..
BUT if it is the new farr beta.. then i need to know.

can anyone else confirm or refute?

this thread is to my everlasting shame :(
ok let me try to fix once again.

maybe someone can make a powerpoint plugin that prevents you from changing the style of a chart and forces you to base it on the single master chart style (or from a set of approved ones).

The CodeBank author (Nikola Dachev) looks like he has created a few nice programs: http://www.zeraha.org/

does it force it to close on startup -- ie refuse to even load it?
if so, blame dc member ewemoa: he forced me to add a feature where if the plugin returned false from the Initialization function then FARR considers it to be reporting that it cannot be loaded.

FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: Problems with fscript 1.20
« Last post by mouser on April 28, 2010, 03:19 PM »
dont forget you can also always write an alias yourself whose result is simply to modify what you type to format it the way the fscript plugin expects.

so if you have a plugin (or another alias) that normally triggers on "pleasepingawebsite (.*)" but you want to save yourself some typing, you could always create your own custom alias that matches "p (.*)" whose result is: "dosearch pleasepingawebsite $$1"

SC has a powerful system for adding external programs to the TOOLS menu and toolbar..
so the main question for me is, do you think there is an existing free ruler that can be configured to work well with sc and just added to the tool menu, or do you think there is a reason it needs to be custom built into SC itself.

for example, i use the ColorCop free color picker tool configured in the Screenshot Captor TOOL menu to fill my color picking needs.. i could build one into screenshot captor, but what's the point when another tool does it just as well?

the idea of having a topic cloud and a start page showing latest coding snacks, reviews, hot topics, i think has a lot of merit, and could be in keeping with the idea of having nice "VIEWS" into the existing content.

i like the idea of an improved starting page that shows latest and useful stuff in different categories..

i think the image of cody on pirate ship looking through his telescope would be a good 404 base image with some minor modifications.

try increasing the 2 numbers a bit (try like 80,20).

but really you can just wait for my next major transparency mechanism.

Also, for the life of me I cannot work out why there's a black border around the image.

see the new transparent window capture options tab, it has an option that adds a border by default.

the active window (using Alt-PrtScr) is captured in Aero Basic mode
yes, i will be addressing this next.
