Although I have expressed in the past my skepticism about Google, I have a serious and honest question that occurred to me:

Google is spending millions (billions?) of dollars advertising and promoting its "Chrome" browser.

Why?

Actually let me simplify this question -- I don't want to get into a debate about true motives and conspiracies, so let me rephrase the question:

Why does GOOGLE say it is spending such huge sums to advertise and promote and try to get people to switch to their Chrome browser?

I honestly am curious about the answer to this question.  They must be telling someone somewhere why they are spending such huge amounts of money trying to get people to switch to Chrome -- what are they saying the reasons are?

you can tell farr to paste text into the current program.

as an example, type into farr: paste

i cant remember if farr pasting supports \n for simulating Enter, probably not.. but i could add that if needed.

RedPillow, although you can get answers to your questions -- i think you would find that getting a book (free ebook or normal book) on php would be extremely helpful to you -- in very important ways.  I urge you to find one, it will be worth the effort to read it.

Minor update but important for those who have been annoyed by the "no disk in drive" errors that can occur with shortcuts to missing files:

Version 2.96.01 - Feb 5, 2011
  • [BugFix] No more "No Disk in Drive" errors on shortcuts that link to unmounted drives (yay! thanks to all testers)
  • [MinorFeature] New options on Search Behavior tab to disable shortcut resolving (can speed up search of start menu but prevents search matching real linked filenames)

it may seem like there should be a very simple direct answer to your question, but you will have to be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do -- as there are very different ways to interpret your question.

My what a feast.. he certainly looks full. I love how he insisted on sitting on the laptop keyboard during dinner.  Now we know he is even more devoted to staying online than we suspected.

I can't really disagree with most of the sentiment, except that it seems to me completely reasonable to charge $200 for a development tool for people making $1000 a year from commercial software.

What I would like to see though is for them to make it completely free (or super cheap, say $29) for people not making software to sell.

I feel for them -- they are having a hard time finding their niche.. You do have to wonder what the future will hold for the Delphi/C++Builder line.

UrlSnooper / Re: Problem with detecting Wireless Network Adapter
« Last post by mouser on February 05, 2011, 08:11 AM »
Can those of you who are having trouble with urlsnooper detecting your wireless adapters, see if this version shows your adapter in the adapter list:

Do *NOT* waste time with automatic network adapter detection -- there are too many irrelevant reasons why that can fail -- just go to options and try to manually select your adapter.  The only thing i've changed is updated the code for winpcap 4.1.2.

If it doesnt snow your adapters but a different winpcap program does, please let me know.

I'd like to finally fix this error "no disk in drive" -- but to do i need to find someone who can get it to reliably occur.
Anyone have a FARR setup where they can trigger this error reliably, even on restart of FARR?

All thanks should really go to Perry -- he rounded up most of these giveaways -- i just watched on in awe.

Special thanks to Curt for getting the Sagelight copies to give away.

And of course, huge thanks to the companies who donated the software to give away.

that is really strange.. if you copied your settings from one pc to another it might pay to exit, delete your screenshotcaptor.ini file and restart.. im trying ot think what might be wrong.. it sounds like some value in the print settings is messed up.. but i cant think of what... do you have a default printer set on the computer?
