A *huge* thanks to our own DC member Carl Thorpe (cthorpe), who arranged all of the software giveaways, and was the one who insisted we try to get software to give away -- if not for him there would be no software giveaway at all.
And of course thank you again to all of the companies who gave us software to give away, and the anonymous donor of the optimus to give away. Thank you for your generosity.

Ok i'm about to post the winners.
I actually had to revamp and improve my prize optimizer for this giveaway since there were so many entries and some weird conditions about some things being hard to ship to some places, etc. I challenge you to find any other site that works so hard to give the right prizes to the right people to maximize happiness

Another thing i wonder if it has something to do with permissions and/or when the program is run.. if it doesn't work when run at boot time but does work when you launch it manually that would be good to know.

i tested it just now on Windows 7, without setting any compatibility mode, and it worked fine..
i wonder what is going on that it's not working for you guys -- anyone else with windows7 experience can report? does the same thing happen whether its docked to any side of the screen? do you have any other odd desktop management tools installed? is it possible that some applications maximize over it and some dont?

Ok first question is whether we are talking about Clipboard Help+Spell or Screenshot Captor -- these are separate programs.
Second of all, i have seen this problem in another program and i do know how to fix it, BUT in the case of these two programs, it shouldn't be needed. Assuming we are talking about Screenshot Captor, it probably means that one of the folders you have configured in the options is on a removable/missing drive. go into options and try to change the bad path.
Now if you didn't actually change any of these settings and this is a default installation, this definitely shouldn't happen. Let me know which operating system you are using.
And what path it configured as your screenshot path.

For immediate release: April 1, 2011
I regret to inform the members of DonationCoder that our mascot Cody the bird has infiltrated our paypal account and withdrawn all of the funds, which he promptly spent on the world's largest chocolate coin:
Attempts to return the half eaten coin were unsuccessful, and so because of this minor snafu, we are going to have to redo the fundraiser in April. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.

I apologize -- it's been a busy month. Let me upload a debug version of FARR for you today to test -- it will report when and where it is trying to load and save it's settings files and if it thinks it failed -- that should tell us what we need to know.

I have a low tolerance for re-watching movies.. Usually after I see a movie I won't ever want to watch it again.
But there is an exception to this rule -- there are certain movies where just listening to the actors speak is extremely enjoyable because of the dialects or accents.
I thought maybe we could have a thread and share our lists of movies that we love to listen to because of dialects and accents.
