FlipSuite no longer needs a license key.  It is free for personal use without one and includes full non-expiring functionality.

Very odd.
Try adding a couple more hotkeys using the different Break/Pause versions and run that as non-admin, see if that makes a difference.

using alt+space to show FARR works, but not the pause key, any explanation to that?

very odd.. in the hotkey options tab in farr, there are some alternate pause/break key identifiers you could try.

can i ask a clarification?  are you saying that the break key works if you run as admin, but not if you don't? or does it never work in any case?

First things first -- would a commandline dpi option for minicap be useful?

or SC gets at least a default "capture" button

isn't everyone using SC via hotkey on keyboard? it's hard to imagine any other real way to use it.

I wonder if i should make the default max size larger -- seems like this issue is slipping up quite a few people.

Or maybe i could add a balloon tray message that pops up when (or the first time) an image is too large to save.

Ok i'll check the spaces in path issue -- but it sounds to me like you've got it working now -- it was just rejecting giant images, is that right?

See if you can find some option in excel to disable some "Office Clipboard" functionality or something similar.  It's so typical that *microsoft* does non-standard things that break their software from working properly with other programs.

Hi MKairys.

The FileList column is currently just used for captured images -- it lists the captured image files on disk.  Normally you wouldn't need to show that (you can change which columns are shown by clicking the tiny button on the far left of the column header).

Now as for why image capture is not working for you, let's first check your image capture settings; do your settings look something like this:


If so.. what exactly happens when you copy an image to the clipboard? Does an entry appear in CHS but no image? Or does chs not even show an image?  Have you tried copying small images to the clipboard from different programs?  It might be one particular program that is being stubborn, or you might be seeing the effect of the Maximum area size option.

I think i remember this coming up beore.. doesn't anyone remember if we figured out what the problem was caused by and any workaround?

If you tell CHS to ignore capturing from exce (Capture Options tab), does that fix it?
