This post at dottech.org might be useful:

Soldiering on...

Good for you -- even if an exact duplicate of your idea existed.. there is often value in starting a new project -- inevitably it will take on a character and feature set of it's own and diverge from the other programs.

Living Room / Re: multiple monitors vs large monitor?
« Last post by mouser on November 16, 2011, 02:42 PM »
Multiple monitors all the way.
Its not just about screen real estate.  With multiple monitors you can more easily layout and maximize different applications on different monitors (though a program like GridMove helps a lot if you are using one big one).

The worst part is, you just know that the way they are going to choose which 10% get the advertised maximum speed is by determining which users never actually use their internet connection more than once a month...

The only thing i would suggest is have a look at something like Wolfram Alpha -- it sure seems like it is designed to do this kind of thing and more -- in fact it handles many of your example queries right out of the box.

And there is already a good alias for it for FARR.

What I can't see at present is if there is any way to click a menu item and have it copy a text string to the clipboard

yeah i don't know why i haven't added such an ability.. seems like a useful thing to add.  i will add it.

I can definitely see the use for this.

If anyone is looking for a NANY project idea, this might be a good one.

ps. Also sounds like a good idea for a feature for me to add to my Find and Run Robot, or my Clipboard Help and Spell tool, both of which can be used to paste common text.

"Ahead of tomorrow’s full-scale launch of Amazon’s new wunderkind, panacea, and lynchpin of its continuing distribution domination, initial reviews of the Kindle Fire are starting to trickle in… and they’re not as fantastic as we — or you — had hoped. "

He looks like he's having the time of his life :)

He must have been relieved to see some fellow birds -- i can imagine him getting quite scared of some of the large predators there.

For those concerned, iBuildApp, the service Stephen used, appears legit and non-evil:

or there's a significant difference in how the two programs handle STDIN/STDOUT,

this would be my first guess.

could you do this: take the commandline that CHS would run, and run that manully under a dos window.  does it produce the right output?

and when you try to run it from CHS, what error does it give you?

just keep in mind that Eset Nod32 can be bought standalone, or as part of a firewall suite called Eset Smart Security.  I use the latter (on one pc) and am reasonably happy with it, though I have not carefully reviewed the competitors.

Welcome to the site Jokezer.

While I'm quite sure that Stoic Joker would appreciate any donation (just click the gold coin under his name to send him some of your donation),
his T-Clock build does not take a license key.  So something else is going wrong that is making the program not run for you.

I'm a very satisfied user of the program but i'm afraid I don't have any insight into fixing your problem -- hopefully someone else will, so stay tuned.

And then in photo 6 he is clearly in shock.

Where and how is the comment stored and is it currently accessible?

comments are stored in embedded image comments -- so other tools that can show embedded image comments should be able to see them.

I'm fairly sure it's mad about the commandline invocation with the %infile% name having spaces in it and not being double quoted.

In your arguments list, try putting double quotes around the %infile%, so its "%infile%"
