I'm not a native English speaker, so I might be mistaken but… shouldn't the title be "Who's your favo(u)rite scientist?" instead of "What's […]"?

Depends, everyone following could have got it wrong and he really wants disciplines.

ie.
Q:What's your favourite scientist?
A: A physicist

Pale Moon does not work with XP or I would switch.

It does, however support for XP stopped last year.

Tesla is not considered a scientist?

Not what I said.

He was first and foremost an engineer.

is there any chance (risk) it could be because of the overwhelming number of security updates (approx 60) for Microsoft Office 2010 that came a couple of days ago?

And considering I don't have Office, it's very unlikely.

.... the reports clearly gave no useful information that would help in problem analysis/resolution.

In my case it did as they picked out the RAMdisk driver.

So the first price will increase 18681 and the second 19863. So the total difference in price will be 18681 + 19863 = 38544

I don't see any error in the above calculations???

You sure about that?

If both increase then the difference between them is not going to be the summation of the increases.

2) The difference is £1.182
I'm presuming you mean one thousand etc., in which case it would have a comma:
£1,182

Regional difference Tomos, a period is used in some countries, prefer spaces myself as per ISO standard.

If it worked for you though, then it should work for me (OTBE), so I may have made a mistake somewhere.

Haven't actually installed it yet so I can't say whether redirecting TEMP back to a physical drive has fixed the problem. Plus I'll have the same problem whenever they issue an update.
From their answer to me it seems like this issue has only just been highlighted and that a fix may be coming in a future update.

I'll leave it a couple of weeks before I have another look.

^ Is it good?  Its hard to tell, looking at conflicting reports...

Good question, I watch movies to be entertained, I don't care if the premise/technology/facts/acting is wrong or even bad.  All it's got to do is stop me hitting the stop button until the end. Not interested in analysing it.

In this case I was entertained, I watched the whole thing, and I'll probably forget what it was about come next week.

I watched it because it had the magic words: Science Fiction

 ;D

EDIT: A movie it reminded me of is Memento, (an excellent movie), where the main character has short term memory problems and has to write notes to him/herself.

Yes, that error is seriously annoying.
Malwarebytes support forum people seem to have no idea as to what causes it either. All they do is feebly tell you stock answer No. 25 - to run some invasive software that looks all over your system and then you send them the resulting report(s).
Like that's going to happen.

FRST, I've run it, looked over the output, removed a couple of lines that would have no bearing on MBAM installation (programs that have no services and leave no trace outside their dir tree), and sent it to them.  Rest of the output is fairly standard for any system.
Never heard back from them last year, don't expect to hear back from them this year.

Instead of asking you to send stuff it would be more helpful to tell you what could be the cause of the install failing at that particular point.

eg. Is it because their installer is badly written and can't cope with running from an exFAT RAM drive?

ADDENDUM: Well there you go, thought I'd check the forum for a reply and guess what, my example is correct. MBAM can't cope with being installed from a RAM drive. Sheesh, why couldn't they mention this last year?

Anti Matter (2016)

MV5BMjEyODcwNDk4OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNzcwMjgxMzI@._V1_UY268_CR4,0,182,268_AL_.jpg
Anti Matter (AKA Worm) is a sci-fi noir take on the Alice in Wonderland tale. Ana, an Oxford PhD student, finds herself unable to build new memories following an experiment to generate and travel through a wormhole. The story follows her increasingly desperate efforts to understand what happened, and to find out who - or what - is behind the rising horror in her life.

Thanks, can I go on and ask which is the smallest colour all-in-one with wifi? I try not to have to call Cannon, Epsom, HP to find out.

HP DeskJet 3720 - HP touted the 3755 as the smallest, the 3720 adds WiFi into the mix.

Question: Do they have Google in the UK?

Personally wouldn't touch a printer that uses a tri-colour ink tank but that wasn't the question.

Anyway, ask SJ what he thinks of it  :P

Then, I bought a Dango wallet during the kickstarter.  And nothing else will do now.

Good luck getting through any kind of security with that.

Was thinking the exact same thing  ;D

Here's mine:

f5589cc9-41a6-4f6f-96be-f7f20462148f.gif

I have two, one has the 5 cards that I carry everyday, (DL, 2x Debit, CC, Medicare) plus I can stick a few notes in the slot at the back.
The other has cards like non-reloadable VISA, Public Transport RFID, etc and I don't carry it unless I happen to need the cards in it.

Together they'll fit in a front pocket easily and each is about half the thickness of a deck of cards.

Any loyalty/shop cards were migrated to the banking app on the phone long ago so no need to carry those, (no real need for one of the debit cards either since the phone NFC takes care of that or cash out via cardless at an ATM).

Perhaps an example would better explain the question?

Input text:
Phrase 1. Phrase 2. Phrase 3.
Phrase 4.
Phrase 5. Phrase 6. Phrase 7.

Output Option 1 (Phrase 4 remains since it is the only Phrase in the line):
Phrase 2.
Phrase 3.
Phrase 4.
Phrase 6.
Phrase 7.

Output Option 2 (Phrase 4 is removed because it is the first Phrase in the line):
Phrase 2.
Phrase 3.
Phrase 6.
Phrase 7.

Which is the preferred output option, 1 or 2?

"LEGACY" used to be a good word, a word you would be pleased to see. Now it's a word to be scared by, a word to put you down:

You're running Waterfox 55.0.2, same as I am:

2017-09-07 22_28_52.png

I'm running the same version of GreaseMonkey and Video Download Helper.

Not a single add-on marked Legacy, what are you doing wrong?

I love how Waterfox is properly shows "legacy" addons as "full add-on"!

LOL ... from here ... I guess all mine are legacy  ;D

In February 1959, a group of nine experienced hikers in the Russian Ural Mountains died mysteriously on an elevation known as Dead Mountain. Eerie aspects of the incident—unexplained violent injuries, signs that they cut open and fled the tent without proper clothing or shoes, a strange final photograph taken by one of the hikers, and elevated levels of radiation found on some of their clothes—have led to decades of speculation over what really happened.

Usually the weather forecast authority relevant to your country is the best source of info, eg. The Met Office for the UK.

What have you tried, and why are they unsuitable?

Cue round of 20 questions ...

Was that device made by SanDisk, by any chance? Because I have several of these with varying capacities that work fine, except for turning them into a boot-able device. And that while using the exact same creation software and/or iso file with a different brand of pen drive results in a boot-able device 100% of the time.

This is true, SanDisk chose to have the flash drives identify themselves as Local Drive instead of Removable Drive for a few years - caused a lot of trouble, only need to have a look across their forums and elsewhere.

That being said, the flash drive I was using above was a 3-4 years old SanDisk Cruzer Switch 4GB and it was working fine.

Case in point:
images.jpg

Two 8GB SanDisk Cruzer Switches, bottom identifies as a Local Disk, top identifies as a USB Drive.

While I was hurtling around Ukraine recently had a bit of fun with sending my realtime location to a couple of friends using Glimpse.

Glympse is a fast, free and simple way to share your real-time location using GPS tracking, with any of your family, friends or co-workers!

Loses the compass and BeiDou GPS receiver that the Redmi Note 2 had but at least it's not a f'n MTK chipset.

Now to unlock the bootloader  :D

Alternatively:
Download FD12FULL.zip, extract FD12FULL.img, write it to a flash drive using Win32DiskImager, boot it, select the language, then answer No - Proceed to DOS on the next screen.
Either way you will need to modify it to do what you want.
-4wd
Its clearly evident from the screen shot tht u're using Freedos 1.0 n the one they r providing is 1.2.
So i believe they did change certain things.
I tried every method.
U should try with ver1.2.

That is the archive for FreeDOS 1.2 is it not?

It boots to FreeDOS from that point you can modify it however you like.  It might be that it loads it all into RAM to run in which case you'll need to modify the image it's running from.  It might be that it runs from the flash drive mapping it as C:

The point is it runs, FreeDOS 1.2, from this point you need to work on it to get it to do what you want.

I have minimal interest in doing searches and combining bits from multiple websites, (something you're quite capable of doing), since there are easier ways to run DOS programs.
