I have overcome the problem by downloading to my laptop, installing, then copying the complete program and installing onto my desktop.  Now works fine, in my opinion, not as good as Mendeley

XP pro, all updates installed.

I have tried to install Qiqqa several times, each time I receive error SP2 is reqd, this is already installed plus sp3.  I first wrote to qiqqa about a year ago, their answer we are aware of this problem and it is being addressed.  After reading the above I thought I would give it another try, same problem, it will not install.
Any ideas how I may overcome this?

I went to zuploader site and saw this message.

"Active development has been ceased for ZScreen and ZUploader in favour of ShareX and ShareXmod, which are built on the solid foundation of ZUploader."

Have I searched for the incorrect software.
Thank you

Thank you for your reply, I had the bookmark in place, but I did not set up the email correctly.  All now well.  I am very surprised how well the saved page opens in the Kindle.

I have been trying to download, the link is down, 'Cannot find server' error

I am trying out Linkman, but how do I make it open Firefox, which is my default browser?

At present it always opens Internet Explorer.  Your help would be appreciated.

14
I downloaded  'Inquiry Pro edition'  it has an addon for Firefox.

I found that it is not all that compatible with the Firefox browser.  It would not allow me to just save sections of text, as the Help suggests.  I was only able to save the full page.

Unless you know differently.

Please let me know

For all those who prefer windows explorer, I have just received this from Gizmo Richards.
"The lack of tabs in Windows Explorer is a real liability. Indeed, it's one of the main reasons why many users install an Explorer replacement such as XYPlorer and UltraExplorer.

However, not all users are comfortable straying from the standard Microsoft setup. For these folks there is some good news: It's quite possible to add tabs to Windows Explorer itself by using a free utility called QT TabBar. As a bonus, you'll not only get tabs but a few additional features, such as instant file viewing, thrown in as well.

I've been using QT TabBar on one of my PCs for a week now and have seen enough to be able to say that many PC users are going to view this as a great productivity tool. However, if you are already using an Explorer replacement like XYPlorer, then it's unlikely QT TabBar is for you."

There is more to the article, here is the link to  the Utility

Sorry that I have been a long time replying to your comments.

Especially "So you'll often see something for $60 and 60 Euros and 60 Pounds. It's not the same monetary value, but for some reason people seem to think the numbers look good and should all be the same"

I live in the UK. At the moment $60 is worth only £20. 49   I was trying to make the point why should an American company be satisfied to charge a USA customer $60 and then say "Oh let us make extra profit and charge the UK customer £60 " when the product is only worth $60
I accused Microsoft because they always charge the UK customer more than you in the USA.

Thank you Carol and Tomos for your replies.

Carol, I have found that Microsoft tend to do that.

I have read the excellent Word Processor Review and I was interested in TextMaker.  It is priced at  U.S $69.95  It is also priced at the same amount in Euros.   The present exchange rate makes $69.95 only 50.73 Euros   I have written to the company, and await their reply.

One expects this of Microsoft, so is this con spreading
