Yes, elpresi, Darwin was right after all.  You can get what you want with Directory Opus and the view can be saved doing a "Lister" whose format can be saved.

Directory Opus is a great program but I have never purchased it mainly because of the price - $US60

Jeff

Thanks, I'll try it again.

I thought Directory Opus might be OK but I can't get it to show the files as indicated here:-

Not quite what is required re what can be seen in panels but Powerdesk (vcom.com) has a file viewer which handles 150 file formats.  But AFAIK you can't have the files and folders in the one tree.

I purchased Cyberarticle.  Use it less than I intended.  Very powerful but not particularly user friendly.  I think it is now $US25.

Thanks for that.  It actually took 90 mins to come through so I'll have to investigate more.

Living Room / Test of Donation Coder notifications
« on: September 19, 2005, 01:02 AM »
I have been doing some fiddling with my email addresses and I think my donation coder notification address has been rejecting notifications.  Could someone please post a quick reply to this post so that I can see if the notification comes through.

Jeff

I am from Australia.  It has always surprised me how many Indian people are on the net, especially living and working outside India.

I didn't take any offence at CarolHaynes link, maybe because i didn't click on it.  But I do agree that it would be better if political discussion is avoided on this forum.

Thanks Ritlabs, mouser and donationcoder members for this gift of a copy of The Bat!.

I did think that I would post more about how I found it but have found it quite good and couldn't think of anything substantial to say that wasn't already covered in the review.  I have only a few minor niggles with it and have found it a better choice for me than Mulberry or Pegasus.

However I am not using its full functionality and can't really comment on its use beyond simply receiving, viewing and replying to my email with some minor use of the template and virtual folder functionality.

Thanks again to Ritlabs et al for this donation.

Best wishes,

Jeff

You must feel very important, with everybody trying to talk to you at once.  Like Jim Carrey being God in Bruce Almighty.

What's that?  the baby or the coding?

I figure I can't help with coding and aren't likely to have time to write reviews so this is a way to contribute, albeit only occasionally.  Also that particular review was in an area of interest so it was particularly useful.
