...  I'd be pretty annoyed if I'd purchased it over the weekend. ...
Me too. I got a free version 7 in spring from german pc mag c't and could upgrade to v8 for less money.
If i would use O on a regularly base, i had buy it, but i don't.
If i had buy it 3 months ago (and don't use it) and now i had become a licence for free,... that would be... (hold on, i look in my translater...)

An commerial product i didn't could give away 'cus of the licence.
I use IZArc wich support more archive format and have the feature
to unpack several archives at once.

what i would like to do for autocapture is specify options like this:
[] capture a screenshot every __ seconds
[] capture a screenshot whenever screen changes
[] but not more than [ 200] MB saved (if you leave SC working alone)

I'm working on the new object drawing stuff for screenshot captor..
i think this is going to take screenshot captor to a whole new level.

I'd also really like to demonstrate the power of the 3rd party tool configuration system.
what i would love is some help finding freeware tools and configurations for them.
You self take me to ImageMagick, isn't that an tool you want ?

Here is just a collection of such apps, not tested yet
and non template for you right now ...... i will see what i can do

NewMove  http://analogx.com/c...d/system/newmove.htm
Have you ever used a program that generated logs or something similar
into a single directory, and wished there was some way to move all the files
except the last days worth?
Or maybe you want to copy out only the newest three files, and just skip whatever
else is in the directory...
Please Note: This program is a commandline application.

Neomesh Image Console $ 19 - http://www.neomesh.c.../content/view/10/33/
Image Console is a command line image conversion utility.

Picture-shark  is the first choice for people
who want to "stamp" visible logos or text on their image files.
Perhaps no commandline but worth to share here with you => http://www.picture-shark.com/

The EXIFutils are a set of command line utilities that extract,

I think i use  BLUR OUTSIDE most.

But an pop-up menu (like them on "resize Image")
with the FOUR options
- Blur outside
- Grey outside
- Dim outside
- Blur, Grey. Dim outside

would be handy.

Or maybe,  if you need more space for the drawing tools,
an pop-up menu with SEVEN options related to the selection
- Blur outside
- Grey outside
- Dim outside
- Blur, Grey. Dim outside
- Blur inside
- Highlight
- Invert selection

could be imagin.

What do users think about this ?

#############

BTW:

the option to add an "border around the selection"
should be have an new name 'cus
you want to implement an "Text highlighting" option too. (wouldn't you?)

So  the current option "Highlighting" could named "Frame"
and than text highlighting could be named "Highlighting".

Or is this only for an german english speaker clear ? :(

Or is there an better idea ?

############

BTW 2:
during this "save without asking" error

i got the idea if you wouldn't save the last action
in the picture too ?

Or is this to many data for the pic file ?

General Software Discussion / Re: Clipboard manager
« on: August 26, 2005, 06:38 PM »
Yes, KanaClip is nice.

I like the "insert date/time" feature with the possibility to
create permanent clips wich also insert the current date.
e.g.
"In Germany now it's Saturday, Aug.27  @ 01:33  o'clock am."

I like the little pop-up window.

I like the text formating tools.

I use CLCL
how have the better hotkey for me (press Shift 2times)
and the better handling of current and permanent clips (one window for both and drag and drop support)
and the possibility to include plugins with DLLs (ok, KanaClip have this features includet without plugins  :)).

Mouser has also coded an very promising Clipboard tool >here<  :)

If I use the dim outside button on the right then I have to undo 3 times. Is that button connected to the wrong routine ???

Carol, the "dim outside" button add three modifications at ones:
1: blur
2: grey
3: dim

This are three actions.

So we have to undo 3 steps.

whit 1.02.07 (W2k SP4)
i had the same problem the first two times as Carol says:

- unpack ScreenshotCaptor.exe
- take an shot
- modify the pic (testet with blur outside / blur inside / highlight)
- choose SampleScreenshot.jpg from the thumpnails
--- and your first shot is saved without an question

I see that every 1,2,3 times i unpack ScreenshotCaptor.exe fresh new.
If i work more times i will be asked, but not the first time i use SC.

In Germany now it's Samstag, Aug.27  @ 01:15  o'clock am. I like this feature from KanaClip "insert date" ;-)

It seems there is an "law suit" in germany about GMail.
In germany there's an TM  "G-Mail" too.

So Google offers only GoogleMail.com accounts
if you surf to gmail.com from an german location.

Hi Skrommel,

BTW the StartClock link of your side
points to the MouseClock.exe

StartClock.ahk didn't work for me, W2kSP4
The StartButton increase only every 1sec  for ca. 100ms for 1 millimeter to the right, that's all.

« on: August 23, 2005, 04:33 PM »
Sorry, i don't know this.
And i didn't stop even the time how long a macro execution lasts.

> a 'bottleneck' caused by a keyboard setting in the registry

I think macro tools didn't to be interested in thoose settings
because that settings are for users. (could be i didn't know that for real)

I think it's depend how this macro tool are programmed
and how they could speed up there workflow.

And most macro tools have an setting for such delay.

You could ask Chris from www.autohotkey.com such questions better  :)

Thanks, Stefan.

One thing that is important for me is speed of execution,
so any suggestions on how to avoid 'pile ups' in windows would also be welcome  :)
