Activation/License/Language Help / Re: New License Key Page now online !
« on: September 02, 2005, 11:06 AM »
i'd be interested in hearing about people's experiences, positive or negative, and any suggestions.

Mouser, didn't you say, if an user get his licence once,
he could use this in all other DC.com apps ?

Shouldn't the name of the keyfile
not be modifyed to something universal like DonationCoder.key ?
Instead of "DonationCoder_ScreenshotCaptor_Key.dat"

So user could copy his key and didn't must
do this procedure "copy, About-Box, paste" again and again.

:(  Just thought  :-\

Stefan, your fotocommunity links are missing. I wanted to see and know!

Hmm, they are clever !? No deep links !? They change the URL ?!

Here is the way you could find them your self:
- [World]
- Europe
- Deutschland
- Baden- Württemberg
- Baden
- Heidelberg
---- you are there :)

That should be a joke :)

That looks real >>>>teaser<<<<  :)

If you mean such frames as in your teaser shot, i had such dl from Photofiltre ===> Masks for the PhotoMasque module

I must look what licences the are have.
I had made my own frames as *.gif, too.
I will sort them out and mail them to you if this is wanted.

BTW: this PhotoMasque modul from PhotoFiltre is very handy
and easy to use to make very nice frames for your photos.
You could choose between transparent or color mask, see below.

Edit:
white Polaroid on white ground is not nifty, so i had change the color white to red.

Here is a starer pack

Hi Carol, hi mouser,
Could we rotate the inserted clips in ScreenshotCaptor ???
If yes, than we need not the arrows / corners in four time construction, one for each direction. Isn't it ?

So we could even down size the starter pack.
I hope the start pack is an optional dl for not make this so big.
Maybe People would think "for what 2meg dl for an snap shot tool ? "

Good selection, Carol. I had meant the packeg would get much bigger.
I had thought every one clipart is bigger, 'cus of the 80MB dl.

Screenshot Captor / Idea for text tool: expand %placeholders%
« on: September 01, 2005, 06:42 AM »
i had just an idea for your new "insert text tool":

would it be possible to insert %placeholders% wich will be expanded ?

e.g.
- i will insert text in my snapshot and wrote %windowtitle% , wich should be expanded like in the comment field
- so i get an text stamp into my snapshot like "Start new topic - Mikisoft Internet Explorer"

-- and / or
read the stored comments from the picture , select and insert one or more as text stamp

e.g.
wrote into the text input field (is there any ?) and maybe modify it:
%windowtitle%
%filename%
v7.00.1
Test # 03 from: %datetime%

read from comment in picture
and expand and stamp as text:
Post reply - Microsoft Internet Explorer
IEXPLORE.EXE v7.00.1
Test # 03 from: 31/08/2005 , 16:56:46

But i don't want to leave tracks on an company pc (special in registry how is scanned) so i thought SC would be fine for such issues.

General Software Discussion / Re: Macro programs - advice sought...
« on: August 31, 2005, 10:47 AM »
Doesn't AutoHotKey keep its macros in the Registry?  I'd rather avoid that.
no no. AHK works with scripts in a text file.
You put all your commands in an text.ahk file and start this if you have AHK installed (or even only unpackt)
You could also create an executable from this script with the AHK-Interpreter includet. Less overhead.
Than you could even sell this .exe for your own "bargain" (is this the right word???).

Please see
http://www.autohotke...om/docs/Tutorial.htm
Creating a script
Each script is a plain text file containing commands to be executed by the program (AutoHotkey.exe).
A script may also contain hotkeys and hotstrings, or even consist entirely of them.
However, in the absence of hotkeys and hotstrings, a script will perform its commands
sequentially from top to bottom the moment it is launched.

To create a new script:

Open Windows Explorer and select a folder of your choice.
Pull down the File menu and choose New >> AutoHotkey Script (or Text Document).
Type a name for the file, ensuring that it ends in .ahk. For example: Test.ahk
Right-click the file and choose Edit Script.
On a new blank line, type the following:
#z::Run www.google.com

don't be cross, rjbull.

Nice to hear from other cron tools,
but i like to mention...

...the best (+free) W32 cron tool i have found is Cron from Kalab:

- it support the hole unix cron syntax
e.g.
35 18 * * 1-5 xcopy "c:\My Documents\*.*" k:\backup /y /s

instead of
35 18 * * Mon xcopy "c:\My Documents\*.*" k:\backup /y /s
... Tue Wed Thu...
35 18 * * Fry xcopy "c:\My Documents\*.*" k:\backup /y /s

like OTTO

- and could be run as service too.

http://www.kalab.com...eeware/cron/cron.htm
Maybe someone want use it.
