Yes, and they have stated on their forums they dont support hotkeys.

I am writing to see if anyone has a way to generate an AHK script to control ZP with hotkeys. I would like the keys to be configurable to do different functions within ZP. If custom keys arent possible, here is a layout of functions I WOULD like;

All keys are using a CTRL + ALT + KEYSPECIFIED combo

Play/Pause:                      C
Stop:                              V
Restart File:                     X
Previous File In Playlist:      Z
Next file in playlist:            B
Quit App:                         Q
Load File:                         L
Skip backwards 5 secs:       Left Arrow
Skip forward 5 secs:           Right Arrow
Volume Up:                       Up Arrow
Volume Down:                   Down Arrow

Let me know if you need more info, and thanks! Perhaps this has already been done, I hope so, but if not I would be eternally greatful as I consider this the only missing feature from zoom player. Thanks again!

Nice new feature - if you want to add some extra mods ...

- Bookmark groups (or folders)
- Mutilple delete
- Rename book mark

would be useful.

Groups would be useful (though may be a step to far) but perhaps the marks could be grouped under board titles?

How about auto add your own new threads (ie. threads an individual starts - not just posts to)
-Carol Haynes (July 08, 2006, 11:33 AM)

I would like to second Carol's suggestion as all of these would add more control to MyBookmarks (especially folders/groups).

Thanks, Dave

edit:grammar

Consider this a 3rd vote for these features as well.

Yes, the newly created account should be highlighted by default (if the only account). Perhaps adding user password protection would also be added in the future.

Thanks to all involved! Indeed a very useful feature.

I appreciate the link, as I am sure mouser does on every link you post. That was really my only requirement for you putting this in your newsletter so I am now satisfied. As for a webpage, I dont have one of my own as I havent the time to make one. Perhaps one day I can get someone to design me one. Anyways, links back to DC is enough for me as these casts are done for the good of donationcoder, its users, and all the users who happen to stumble upon it.

Thanks for including this and thanks for your help in getting the word spread!

not good enough for you sods huh?

any takers for this watch:

[ Invalid Attachment ]

pdf manual is here: http://ftp.casio.co....al/wat/en/qw1510.pdf

used to be the bees knees - basicly can store contact info, todo list, plus all the other normal watch stuff.  its a bit thick.  (see the manual above for all the details).

it's about 6 years old and still rund great, BUT i dont have the pc infrared link thingy to connect it to your pc, so you'll have to skip
that or find a way around it (i heard you can link to some pdas?) - so this might be good for a tinkerer.  preferences will be given to first requestor who likes tinkering with hardware, etc.  see this page to view the insides of it: http://www.electrics...o.uk/casiowatch.html

How much?

Hi Josh,

I found your review in the DC Newsletter. Would you mind the review and screencasts being featured in my newsletter? I get about 3000 unique hits a week there.

http://freewarewiki....ifsCurrentNewsletter

I always give credit and a link-back, and I'll mention DC as well.

I have previous reviews from another friend of mine at this url, but I like your screencasts and you did a fine job.

Have fun!

I have no problems with this as long as mouser doesnt :) Since you said you already would, the only thing I would ask is for the link back and mention of dc.com. If we can get mouser to reply here, I think he will say go ahead.

Well, I am unable to confirm this in maxthon. It works fine for me. Perhaps you have something else using that hotkey?

yes, the "CTRL+V to auto-type" function works fine....but the global hotkey doesn't work....
thanks for the quick reply...

Which global hotkey? Perhaps this is a setting I am missing. Let me know and I will see if I run into the same issue here.

I can do one, however, I feel that roboform is in an entirely different category compared to KeePass. Roboform is DESIGNED for filling forms, saving passwords is an ADDED feature. After I complete my cast of roboform, I will do one comparing keepass and roboform, as well as a mini-review to go with it.

KeePass can be used as a form filler, but only for login/passwords unless you want to get heavy into the Auto-type coding. Even with such heavy coding, I dont think you will get much use in trying to fill forms with it.

I use keepass in conjunction with roboform, updating the other when I add a login to one. That way, I will always have two sources for stored passwords for redundancy. Plus, KeePass has a far more versatile password generator that is also more random (not really needed, but for the very paranoid, its handy).

Also, to reko, First, load the page you want in maxthon via the "Go to url" function in keepass, then bring the keepass window back up, and hit CTRL+V to auto-type. Also, ensure that you have the text Auto-Type: before any auto-type commands in your notes section

Yes, please feel free to ask me if you need a screencast done for any mini-review or full review you do. I enjoy doing them and will do my best to help out!

P2P insurer will pay your fines if RIAA sues: $19/year!
David sez, "Apparently, a company in Sweden is offering file-sharing insurance - they'll pay your fines if you're sued by the RIAA. The /. submitter translates the link as follows: 'For a mere 140 SEK ($19 USD) per year, they will pay all your fines and give you a t-shirt if you get convicted for file sharing.'"

What mouser said. The groups/aliases feature is the BEST feature I have seen in FARR although there is one feature mouser knows I want in FARR2 more than any other. Groups allow you to do custom searches of groups that return specific results. Like me, I have a control panel applet that returns a control panel icon after I type "cp". Typing CP lists all contents of the control panel folder, and then I can refine it quickly to access, say, the display control panel.

Mess with this, its a great feature.

How about adding a way to tie into the API that is presented by Roxio and Nero burning apps, that allows 3rd party coders to use the burn engines of these programs in their own apps? Add some code to detect if the program is installed and then, this way, you could burn your playlist right from this program without needing to access your burning program? This would be a great addition I would think.

Alright all, without delay here is the newest screencast which covers the BASIC functionality of KeePass password safe. I plan to do another which will demonstrate its more advanced features, so if you've been using it, post here what you think should be included and I will be sure to hit on it. Thanks and enjoy

Just wanted to get this out to the masses.

Soon, I will have a screencast of KeePass up. I am just waiting on a certain someone to help me finish this up :) So, stay tuned!

Allow me to ask something, how many of you have paid for the current version of office you are running? I know a lot of people say they wont upgrade because the price is too high, but I am just curious how many have paid for their CURRENT version?

3099
I've been using office 2007 beta and let me tell you, that new toolbar system is very useful. Its much easier to get around once you learn it. I will definitely be upgrading once its put out.

Security is all about end user education. You can make a browser as dummy proof as you want,  but if a user is click happy and just clicks yes to everything, then all the security built into a browser wont help. Firefox has had its share of security exploits and that, in my opinion, has blown away the illusion that most firefox evangelists had about firefox being impervious to such attacks (buffer overflows, underruns, etc). I think more time should be spent educating the end users about security as opposed to trying to dummy proof (from a security standpoint) the software (in this case, a browser).
